it was late and i couldn't sleep. i never can at my girlfriends house. her name is amber, i love her but i don't think i like her anymore. i know thats mean to say. i'm too scared to break up with her though.
i know it's not my responsibility to take care of her but it does feel like mine. she is just alot and i need someone who understands personal space but i know if i bring this up she will break down. so i cant.
like this is the 4th time ive been at her house this week and i just want to go home. i miss my siblings.
i'm just glad the table read went long so she was pretty asleep by the time i got here. i'm also not allowed many friends because of her. shes a very jealous person and over thinks alot, i cant blame her considering her passed relationships but im struggling with the lack of connection.
so i'm not telling her about madeline, she'll be jealous and never let me talk to her and it's a whole cycle i'd like to avoid.
madeline: it's a bit late isnt it
violet: then why are you up
madeline: i'm adulting. doing my washing
violet: are you not a teenager?
madeline: i am. i live by myself though

what highschool do you go to
madeline: legacy high ny

what do you do then. everyone at that school does something

violet: i figured you would have done acting
madeline: nope

violet: im homeschooled and technically graduated last year
madeline: nerd alert
violet: oh you know it
doesn't help i'm doing collage classes for design and robotics then.
madeline: definitely not. but that's super cool
violet: it's not that interesting.
madeline: how did you get into acting then.
violet: well my aunt
madeline: nice
we ended up talking for a while. she told be about her boyfriend. i ended up telling her all about amber. then we talked about childhood pets and basically everything to get to know eachother.
i'm glad we have eachother now as everyone on set is rich and famous and like over double our age.
she went to bed around 4am. blaming me and saying how she would miss the gym now in the morning.
i told her she was crazy for going to the gym first in the morning but she didn't care.
we said our goodnight and i leant over to my girlfriends bedside table.
a little sleeping pill never hurt anyone.
and finally my insomniac self was out.
goodnight mum, goodnight dad. i said in my head. before drifting off completely.
