Shadow: In the year 20XX, the brilliant Doctor Light would change history forever, developing machines with A.I. so advanced, it mimicked actual life. His goal was a world where robots and humankind could live together in trust and harmony.
Zero: I want all you watching to remember that, because right off the bat, Light's partner, Doctor Wily, reprogrammed the bots and tried to take over the world. Just the first in a lifetime of dick moves.
Shadow: To combat this threat, Light upgraded one of his prototypes, Rock, into the original, the classic... Mega Man.
Zero: Ah yes the classic people like me oh this man for inspiring a line of Mega Men for years to come.
Shadow: Mega Man may be an icon by himself, but others have carried on his legacy, creating real immorality.
Zero: Like my boy Mega Man X who was created during Light's final years and was sealed for 100 years until he was finally discovered. Just in time for worldwide war. But hey X has his best partner and friend your's truly although it's ironic given the history of our creators.
Shadow: Eventually Zero took on the mantle of Mega Man 100 years later.
Zero: Basically during my creation Wily placed in me a virus that would cause the Maverick Wars so I went under so people can develop a cure which worked. But then that bastard Doctor Weil tried to destroy the world so naturally I went and sacrificed my life in the process. That's right if it wasn't for your boy the world would be destroyed. And shockingly I was created by Wily not Light do basically I redeemed Wily despite all the terrible things he did.
Shadow: 200 years after Zero's sacrifice, the world changed forever, Reploids have limited lifespans and humans once they reach a certain age given mechanical body parts and are known as Humanoids. One of those is a boy named Vent.
Zero: Vent'e life was pretty chill until Mavericks attacked and killed his mother. Well that stings, but luckily he was founded by Giro who took him under his wing and had him work in his shipping company.
Shadow: Vent did it because he wanted to. With the hope that one day he would find the Maverick who murdered his mother, and bring peace to the world. And he would get his chance when Giro was attacked by Mavericks.
Zero: All this happened while doing a delivery so being the good guy that he is despite being powerless wanted to protect his friend and that's when one of the deliveries emerged and gave Vent the power he needed to stop the Mavericks.
Shadow: This was Model X which merged with Vent and at this moment he became his very own Mega Man.
Zero: Oh yeah now this is what I'm talking about!
Shadow: Now powered Vent has means to fight of Mavericks. Model X is a Biometal a living metallic artifact that contains data and abilities similar to Cyber-elves. They contain information on past history and weapon data, and have their own wills, which can grant knowledge and power to a Chosen One. And Model X gives him the abilities of Mega Man X.
Zero: Which means he can now use the X-Buster which can fire off single shots of condensed solar energy, or charge up several times over for even more power he can even fire off two Charge Shots.
Shadow: However, Model X isn't Vent's only Biometal. Model X has the unique ability to assimilate other Biometals into it for a Double Megamerge.
Zero: When he got Model Z after Giro...died...rest in peace. He gained the power of X and myself which means he's merged the X-Buster and Z-Saber into a single weapon, and can be switched like the ZX-Buster which does exactly what you think it does and the ZX-Saber which can deflect projectiles and cut through nearly everything like a lightsaber. (Sniffs) Oh man the kids grow up so fast.
Shadow: Wait Zero are you crying.
Zero: Yes... (sniffs) I mean I have to be proud of my fellow Mega Men for carrying on the legacy Rock started.... I need a moment.
Shadow: Uhhh.... Okay so while Zero takes his time crying like a proud old man stay tuned next time for Vent's opponent, Adam from A Post Honkai Odyssey which takes place after Honkai Impact 3rd.
