Blooper Five: Zane's Hair
"What's going on with the new couple in town?" Katelyn asks from across the table. I look at Zane, he looks at me, we look back at Katelyn.
"Oh, I was just telling him how incredibly hot he is with his hair down." I say, nonchalantly. Zane instantly jumps out of his skin before turning into blurry mess of black hair as he whips his head back and forth between me and Katelyn about 10 times, before he ends with his face right in front of me.
"WHAT?!" He exclaims with the most flustered voice I've ever heard. His hair everywhere, his face a red mess, and his mask falling down from all the head shaking. I lightly chuckle, I can feel my face heat up as he stares right into my eyes.
"What? You look adorable with your hair down." I whisper coyly into his face, somehow managing to make him go an even deeper shade of red. He gives up and places his head in his arms on his desk, to hide from the prying eyes. I pat him on the shoulder.
"Sorry, he's not very good with compliments." I apologise to Katelyn, trying my best not to laugh as I stare at his glowing red ears. While she sits there, fighting for her life to not start cackling, then she loses it.
"HAHAHA!!!!" She cackles. "Well I'm glad to hear you two are happy." She smiles. I look over to Kawaii~Chan who has been listening to the whole conversation, to see her eyes wide with excitement, while Aphmau is covering her mouth casually.
"Didn't want her ruining the moment." Aph says, carefully taking her hand off Kawaii~Chan's face.
"EeEeE!!" Kawaii~Chan squeals, with half her usual volume. As most of the excitement has worn off. When she finishes Zane raises his head, casually looking at a wall as he takes his hair out, letting it flow down just brushing his shoulders. He keeps the hair tie on his wrist. I place a hand on the side of his face furthest from me, bringing his face in front of mine.
"You really do look adorable with your hair down." I smile. His blush is brought back.
"Would it be bad if we kissed at school?" He asks.
"It couldn't hurt just this once." I respond, pulling his mask down. He pulls me towards him. His face fills my vision, until I close my eyes. Our lips clash, then our mouths open, my lips closing on his, his lips closing on mine. I then pull away in an effort to keep it short. He continues to stare into my eyes, I pull his mask up. Then he looks around to see the entire homeroom whip their heads back to the front of the room. The room is oddly quiet.
"It's just like the bookstore again..." Zane blurts.
"No! Don't remind me of the bookstore!" I complain. Placing my head in my hands
