Chapter 30

***Later***

Jungkook puts the last piece of pizza back in the box and says, "You can have the last slice if you want." I walk over, take the slice, and say, "Well, I should think so. You slept with someone else." He sighs and looks down.

***Even later***

I'm sitting in the living room on the couch and Jungkook is sitting next to me and looking at me. He says, "What, now you won't even talk to me anymore??" I continue to ignore him and look at the table. He sits down on the coffee table and says, "Min Lee, listen. I'm really sorry, okay?? I was losing my mind. It doesn't make everything better, okayy??" Jungkook stands up and says, "Okay, okayy." I look away and then after a few seconds I say, "I think it's better if you go." He looks at me and says, "What?" I say, "I really think you should go now." He stands up and comes over to me.

He puts his hands on my shoulders and says, "This morning you said there's nothing too big that we can't get over, that we can't talk through and work through." I shake his hands and say, "Yeah, what the hell did I know?" He says, "Min Lee......There has to be some way we can get over this, okay?? I can't imagine, I can't imagine my life without you!" I turn around and walk into my bedroom where Lisa, Jennie, and the boys are. I close the door and put my hand over my mouth to keep from making any noise. I hear Jungkook leave my apartment and slam the door. When he leaves, I sit by the door, starting to cry hysterically. Lisa and Jennie run up to me and both of them hug me.

~Lisa POV~

We're sitting in Min Lee's bedroom waiting for her to come back from the cafe down the street. She got a call from the bartender there who has a huge crush on her, telling her he has something really urgent to say, when the apartment door suddenly opens and a few seconds later it slams shut again. Two people can be heard. And a second later, as they speak, we realize it's Min Lee and Jungkook.

Jungkook says, "Please talk to me, Min Lee." Min Lee replies, "I can't even look at you right now." She says, "Don't touch me. Don't come near me." Jungkook says, "Min Lee. I made a mistake. It was a mistake." Min Lee replies, "No, Jungkook. The mistake is the kiss. What you did wasn't a mistake anymore. You did it yourself." Jungkook says, "Min Lee...." Min Lee replies, "Jungkook, you slept with another woman." I look at Jennie and say, "What the hell??" Meanwhile, Jennie exclaims, "Oh...my god." The boys mutter something, but we silence them.

Jimin clenches his fists and grimaces. But we don't let him leave the room. Instead, we continue to listen to the conversation. When Min Lee asks, "What was she like?? Was she good in bed?? Was she better than me??" Taehyung interjects, "Bad!" Namjoon adds, "Nothing compared to you!" But then we hear Jungkook answer, "She.....she.....she was.......different." Taehyung and Namjoon look at each other and Taehyung says, "Ooof. Wrong answer, buddy."

We continue to listen for a while and then Taehyung says, "Ugh, it's wrong for us to listen. Let's just get out of here," but we stay in the room and continue to listen. Jungkook says, "Listen, Min Lee. I wanted to tell you. I thought I had to tell you, I really did. But then my friend convinced me not to."

***Later***

When the last line of dialogue is: "You're a completely different person to me now. I used to think of you as someone who would never, ever hurt me. Never." She's silent for a moment and then says, "Oh my god. And now I can't stop thinking about you with him. I can't. What you say or do doesn't matter anymore. It just changed everything.....forever." He says, "I mean...... It can't be that everything's over." She asks, "Then how come it is??", then after a few seconds she enters the room and collapses.When Jungkook leaves the apartment, Min Lee completely collapses. Jennie and I run over to her and we both hug her from our sides. Jennie, holding back tears, says, "I'm so sorry." I take Min Lee's hand in mine and squeeze it gently.
