Chapter 33

***A couple minutes later***

~Jimin POV~

"Hey, did she find you??" I ask Jungkook, walking up to him. Jungkook turns to me and asks, "What are you talking about?? Did who find me??" I say, "Min Lee. She came here looking for you a few minutes ago. She told me she wanted to talk to you." Jungkook shakes his head and I say, "Come on, let's go. We'll find her." Jungkook nods and we walk to the other side of the pool, which is closer to the house, when suddenly Taehyung comes over and says, "Kook, she just saw you. She saw, what happened, and left."

Jungkook looks at him with big eyes and takes a deep breath, then runs his hands through his hair. I ask, "Who saw what?? What just happened??" Jungkook says, "Well, there was this drunk girl standing next to me and she just kissed me." Taehyung adds, "Min Lee saw Kook. Then she turned and ran away." I look at Jungkook and say, "Oh my god."

Jungkook looks at me and I say, "Jungkook, she came to tell you that she wanted to give you another chance, that she wanted to try." Jungkook looks at me and says, "Wait, seriously? She wants to give us another chance??" I say, "I'm pretty sure your kiss with the drunk girl made her change her mind." Jungkook says, "Oh no. We have to find her."

~Min Lee POV~

I stand up and pull my phone out of my pocket, then quickly hail a taxi that's very close to this house. When it arrives very quickly, I run to it and get in, then give Minho's address. The driver nods and starts driving, trying to ignore the fact that I'm still crying. Meanwhile, I pull out my phone and text Minho.

<Me. Heyy, oppa. I'm on my way to your place right now, hope it's not a problem??>

He immediately opens the message, reads it and calls me: "Min Lee, are you okay?? What happened?? And of course it's not a problem." I say: "Can we talk about it when I get there?? I'm on my way home from your friend Taemin's party. I just don't have my wallet with me, so I can't pay for the taxi myself." Minho says: "Sure. Let me know when you get there." I nod and say: "Okay, okayy."

Then I hang up. When I finally get there, Minho is already standing there waiting for me. I get out and Minho quickly pays the driver, then when the taxi leaves, he hugs me. I put my arms around him and start crying again. He rubs my back soothingly and gently and asks, "What happened, sunshine?? I thought you were feeling better, so you went to the party."I say, "That was until I ran into Jungkook at the party." Minho says, "Oh no. And did something happen??" I say, "Let's go upstairs, I'll tell you."

***Later***

"Okay, but was he the one who initiated the kiss?? Maybe it was a surprise to him?? You said it yourself that it was the girl who kissed Jungkook, not the other way around. And no, I'm not trying to defend him, I was just wondering." I shrug and say, "I don't know. But it hurt me anyway." Minho nods and then says, "And you're sure you want to get out of here??"

I nod and say, "Yeah, I think a change of scenery might be good for me. New place, new circumstances. Plus, Grace, Min Seok, and the twins will be there. You know, I'll just spend the rest of the summer with them and then I'll go back to college." Minho asks, "Are you really ready for this??" I say, "I don't know. But I know I can't just sit around and wait until I'm ready to be with Jungkook again. And I think college will help me get through this." Minho hugs me and says, "Okay, honey. Whatever you want. If you think it'll help you, then do it."

***The next morning***

I finish packing my suitcase, lock up the apartment, and go downstairs to Minho's car. I hand him the apartment keys and put the suitcase in the car. We both get in the car and start driving. When we get to the airport, Minho comes with me until the last minute. When boarding begins, Minho holds me in his arms and doesn't want to let go.

I laugh and say, "Oppa, I'm going to miss my flight." He says, "Then don't go. Stay." I say, "But I have to go...you know." Minho lets me go and says, "Yeah, I know..." He squeezes my hand and then says, "Text me when you land, okayy?? And say hi to Grace and the others." I smile and nod, then get on the plane.

***Later***

When I land and get off the plane, I'm waiting for my suitcase and then I'm about to head to the airport exit when I see Grace, Min Seok, and the twins standing there waiting for me. Grace has a sign in her hands that says, "Welcome back, best friend." Tears well up in my eyes and I smile. I start walking towards them and then Min Seok crouches down next to the twins and says, "Here, now you can finally go to her," then he takes his hands off their shoulders and lets them go.

The twins start running towards me and then hug me. I hug them back and then I walk over to Grace and Min Seok. I hug them and then we walk out together. I ask, "How......??" Grace says, "Minho texted us." I answer, "Well, of course." Grace looks at me and says, "He also told us what happened. I'm so sorry, honey." I sigh and say, "Me too. But maybe it was even better that it happened now and I did not get my hopes up."

Grace nods and says, "At least you're with us now." I look at her and ask, "Aren't you tired of me already??" Grace asks, "Are you kidding?? Sweetie, you're my sister, I can't be tired of you. And no, I've already missed you so much." I smile at her words and by then we've managed to get to the car. Min Seok puts my suitcase in the car and we all get in the car. As we get in the car, Grace says, "By the way, we're going to my family's house tomorrow." I smile and say, "Yayy, I love your mom." Grace smiles and says, "My mom loves you too. I think more than me. And she loves me quite a bit, at least I'd like to hope so. And Michael and Katie (her younger brother and sister) want to see you again too." I smile and say, "Yayy." We start driving and pretty soon we get to their house. Grace shows me the guest room and lets me get settled.
