Chapter 25

~Jimin's POV~

***After class***

When class ends, I get up and walk over to Min Lee's place, hoping she'll wake up, but she's still sleeping. I look at Brian, the guy sitting next to her, and ask, "Is she okay??" Brian nods and says, "Yeah, she's just tired." I ask, "What's wrong??"

Brian looks at me and says, "You'll want to know a lot, you'll get old quickly. Have you heard that saying??" I take a step closer and growl, "You get in someone else's business, you'll get punched in the face. Have you heard that saying??" Brian says, "Look, dude. I'm just doing what's best for her and letting her rest. Don't you want to let her rest??" I say, "As her best friend, I have the right to do whatever I want."

Brian smiles and says, "Go ahead, bestie boy. I want to see how it goes. This should be interesting. But I'm just warning you, it's a bad idea to wake her up." I crouch down in front of Min Lee's desk and gently wake Min Lee up. She looks at me with

tired eyes and says, "Oh my god, what's up? What do you need from me? What do you want?"

I look at her with big eyes and say, "Min Lee. You haven't been to school for a month, you haven't answered your calls, no one knows where you are, and now you're acting like this? What's going on?? I miss you, that's what."

She looks at me and says, "Yeah, yeah. I miss you too. Is that all??" I say, "No, it's not all......" I want to keep talking, but then Min Lee just gets up and walks away. And then I notice it. She's changed a lot. Not in character. But she's dyed her hair and lost weight. A lot of weight.As I watch her, she leaves the classroom and walks away. I look at Brian and he says, "Told ya." I nod, look at Jungkook and Taehyung, then Jungkook says, "Let's go." I nod and stand up. As I walk to the classroom exit, Brian says, "Look for her in empty, quiet places."

I ignore him and we leave the classroom. I look down the hallway and see no one. I ask, "Where did she go??" Taehyung points to a silhouette at the far end of the hallway and says, "There. Let's go." We run towards the silhouette, but it turns out it's not her. I ask again, "Where did she go?? Seriously." Taehyung says, "Wait, that guy said to look in quiet places. Let's go to the library."

We go to the library and there we find Min Lee, sleeping in the very corner of the room, hidden behind all the shelves. She's lying with her head on her feet. We sit around her and I say, "Min Lee." She asks, "What do you want??" I say, "To spend time with you." She looks at me and says, "I'll let you stay if you'll shut up."

I nod and then she sighs. I straighten my legs on the floor, she looks at me and then lays her head on my lap and falls asleep. I face the guys and shrug. I pull out my phone and open the correspondence with Jungkook and Taehyung.

<Me. Look at her? Has she lost a lot of weight or is it just me? She's skinny.>

<Jungkook. It's not just you. It's real.>

<Me. We should really talk to her when she wakes up.><Jungkook. First, I agree. Second, hyung. We have class starting right now. What do we do??>

We all look at her and I say, "You guys can go. I'll stay." Taehyung says, "No. I'll stay with you." Jungkook says, "I'll stay too." I sigh and nod. Jungkook texts the teacher that we all felt sick because we ate something bad and that's why we won't be in the rest of the class.

***A few hours later***

~Min Lee's POV~

When I wake up, Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung are looking at me. I sit up, lifting my head from Jimin's legs, and look at them. Jimin smiles and says, "You're awake. Finally." I ask, "What time is it??" Jimin looks at his phone and says, "3 PM." I run my hand through my hair and ask, "And what are you all doing here??" Jimin replies, "Well, uh...since you fell asleep on my lap, I couldn't go anywhere. And the others stayed here for company."
