Chapter 13

***In a few days***

Today is the last day of school for this semester, because Christmas is in a few days. We leave the last class with Hyun Woo, Hongbin, Taehyung, and Jimin. Jungkook and Lisa leave separately. I smile and say, "Ugh, I can't wait to lie down and not get up for days in a row."

On the way to the locker room, Taehyung asks, "So, your vacation plans are just to sleep in bed?" I say, "Well....no. I'm thinking maybe going to visit your parents. They live in Busan." Taehyung says, "Baby, the trip to your parents' house might take about a day or two." I nod and then Taehyung says, "And the vacation is three weeks long." I nod.

On the way to the locker room, Namjoon, Hoseok, Jin, and Yoongi join us. Namjoon puts his arm around my shoulder and says, "Come abroad with us." I ask, "What?" Namjoon says, "We're going to New Zealand for a couple of days and then we're going back to Korea and we're going to go skiing at YongPyong Resort for two or three days. How does that sound??"

I laugh and say, "Expensive. That sounds expensive." Taehyung says, "Baby, you get a $1,000 scholarship a month." I say, "Yes, because I study well. But I live alone in an apartment in downtown Seoul." Taehyung says, "Yeah. But your parents pay for your apartment and your brother transfers money to you once a week and buys and brings you food. And your parents send you money."

I say, "Okay, but I'm saving for college." Taehyung says, "Baby, you have two and a half years to save for college." I say, "Fine. I'll go with you if none of you mind." Jimin immediately says, "Nobody minds." I ask, "And.....?" Everyone looks at Jungkook and he says, "Uhh, no way." Lisa looks at him, but Jungkook ignores it.

Taehyung says, "Perfect, baby. So, you're coming with us." Lisa says, "Hey, can I come with you too, please?" Jungkook doesn't know how to answer, but the other guys all say, "NO!" I look at Lisa and I almost feel sorry for her. She nods and smiles.

I sigh and can't believe I'm doing this, but then I stop, turn to the guys and say, "Guys. Let her come with us. Give her a chance. Get to know her better. Who knows, maybe it'll even be fun?" Taehyung looks at me a little surprised and then I say, "Since I'm Taehyung's girl, you want to take me with you. Lisa is Jungkook's girl, so she has the same right to come with you as I do."The guys sigh and look at each other. Then Jimin says annoyed, "Ugh. Fine. Lisa, you can come with us. Jungkook will text you the details, what, how, and when." Then Taehyung takes my hand and drags me out of school.

***The next day***

I grab the last of my things and then finish getting dressed. My bus to Busan is in half an hour. I reply to Taehyung's text that I'll call him later when I'm done. Then I go for a slow walk to the bus stop. When I get to the bus stop, Jungkook is standing there, looking at his phone.I ignore him and look at the bus schedule. I sit down on the bench to the side and put my headphones in. After a moment, I see someone sit down next to me. I take out one of the headphones and look at the person who sat down next to me. And I'm a little surprised when I see that it's not Jungkook, but Jimin.

I say, "Jimin, what are you doing here?" He smiles and says, "Waiting for the bus, just like you, dummy." I look at him, probably a little surprised, and he asks, "You didn't know? I live in Busan too. I know you and Jungkook are neighbors. But I live a couple of blocks away."I nod and say, "Sure. That's cool." Jimin nods too, then points to his headphones and asks, "What are you listening to?" I answer, "BIGBANG's Taeyang's song "Only Look At Me." Jimin asks, "Really? I love that song." I smile wider and answer, "Ooo. Cool."

Then the bus arrives and Jimin and I get on first, followed by Jungkook and the other people. When I sit down, Jimin sits down next to me and says, "I hope you don't mind." I shake my head and I see Jungkook sitting down two rows away. I sit back in my chair and put both headphones back in my ears. I turn the music back on and want to sleep, but then I see Jimin looking for something.

I pause the music and ask, "Did you lose something?" Jimin checks his pockets and says, "Aaaa. Don't worry. I just lost my headphones. Or I left them in the dorm. I always listen to music when I drive to Busan and back, otherwise it's hard to endure the whole long journey." I look at my headphones, then hand one to him and ask, "Would you like to listen to my music with me? I may not have the best taste in music, but it's better than nothing."

He smiles and says, "Uhh, sure. Thank you very much." I smile back and turn the music back on. After a while, I somehow fall asleep and my head rests on Jimin's shoulder. He smiles and then Jungkook looks at us. He doesn't like to see me do that to anyone else, not just him. Especially if it's one of his best friends.

***A few hours later***

I wake up to someone gently shaking me. I open my eyes and it's Jungkook. He's standing by our seats and looking at Jimin and me. Then he says, "Perfect. You're finally awake. We have to get off in 4 minutes." I nod and then stand up. I stretch and Jimin hands me back the headset. He says something and then stands up too. We gather all our things and head to the bus exit. Then the bus stops and lets the three of us and a few other people off at the bus stop.

I look around and put my backpack on my back. But then someone coughs loudly. I look ahead and there are my two brothers and Jungkook's big brother Junghyun standing there. I smile and hug him and say, "Junghyun." Minho, my brother, looks at me and says, "Yah, Min Lee. I'm your brother and you choose to hug him first?"I laugh, then hug Minho. Then I turn to my other brother, hug him much tighter, and when I let go of him, I say, "Min Seok. What are you doing here? You live in Canada." He smiles and says, "I came to visit you for the holidays. Besides, I have an announcement for the family." I smile and then Jungkook's brother and my brothers also greet Jungkook and I introduce them to Jimin.Everyone introduces themselves and then I say, "Okayy, Minho. Let's go home. I want to eat." Minho laughs and says, "Of course you do." When we're near our house, Jimin stops and says, "Okay, Min Lee. I need to go that way," and points to the next street. We hug and he walks away.
