Almost like back then (JJK fanfic)

Chapter 6

Next morning Jungkook is again at my place because he is behind at his studies so I'm gonna help him with that. I text my brother that I don't have to go to school for the next couple of days so I don't need a ride. Of course, he decides that he needs to come check up for me and so he shows up at my place without a warning.

We're sitting and studying, when I hear a knock at the door. I open the doors and it's Minho. I say:"Hey, what are you doing here?" He enters my apartment and says:"I wanted to check up on you. You said that you can't go to school. Are you okay?" I nod and want to explain but then he notices Jungkook. 

He asks:"Did you guys make up finally?" I share glances with Jungkook and he signs and nods. With his permission, I tell my brother what happened yesterday, letting out the part where I got punched in the face. He clenches his jaw and asks me:"And how do you feel about not going to school?" I say:"Well, it is a stupid situation and I'd rather be going to school but it is what it is." He steps forward and hugs me and says:"I'm just glad that you're okay. When you texted me that you don't have to go to school, I got a little worried." 

He then threatens Jungkook to behave and not hurt me again and then pulls me aside. "How are you feeling about this? Are you okay with him being in your life again?" I nod and say:"I guess so. I mean I'm still hurt but I'm gonna work on forgiving him. Because it really seems to me like he's trying. So I'll try being friends with him again."  He hugs me again and then he leaves because he has to go to work. 

After he leaves, Jungkook sighs in relief and says:"That went better than I thought it would. At least, he didn't try to kill me." I smile and say:"Yeah, he was in a good mood. But don't count on it to not happen later. He still might." He laughs weakly and then we go back to studying and hanging out.
