Chapter 15

***Later***

When we decide to take a break in between the meals, Min Seok, my oldest brother stands up. He asks for our attention and we all look at him. He takes a deep breath and starts talking:"My dear family and Jeon family. I missed ALL of you very much. I mean, I'm forever grateful for Grace being with me a lot. But she cannot replace all of you. So I'm glad that at least holidays we spend together."

He goes silent for a moment and then gulps and continues:"However, there is a reason why today I've been acting...strange. I...have two announcements." Me and Minho share a glance, both curious, and then look back to Min Seok.

Min Seok continues speaking:"So...uhh...first of all. Recently, I proposed to Grace. And she said yes." As I start to get excited, he stops me and says:"I'm not done yet, Min Lee. Second of all...Grace is pregnant. We're gonna have a baby. Min Lee, now you're free to freak out in excitement." I scream excitedly and ask:"Grace, why you didn't tell me anything?" She laughs a bit and says:"But then it wouldn't be a surprise, would it?" I hug her tightly and then we all start congratulating them both. 

For my suprise, I look over to Jungkook and we have an eye contact. He smiles at me and I look away. 

***Later***

When we're done eating and I've exchanged Christmas presents with everyone, I take the presents I received and go to my room. I'm doing the exchange now, because I'll be abroad for Christmas. As I've put the presents away, there's a knock on my door. Grace comes in and then closes the door. I look at her and say, "You're pregnant. Congratulations. I'm so happy for you both."

Grace smiles and says, "Thanks, but I'm here to talk about you and Jungkook. So. Tell me what's going on between you two, because I don't believe you're not talking. He couldn't stop staring at you all night. I mean, it's understandable. Because you look amazing. But it has to be more than just friendship or liking you. The guy looked at you almost like candy...in those moments when he wasn't looking at you with longing eyes."

I laugh and Grace sits down on the bed. Since we are both girls and like sisters, I don't feel shy about changing in front of her. Then I sit down on the bed opposite her. I'm about to start talking, but then I instinctively look at the window. My window is near Jungkook's room window. I look over to Jungkook's room and see him unbuttoning his white shirt and throwing it on the bed.

I immediately turn around and walk away from the window because I don't want him to think I was looking in case he looks our way. I lie on my stomach in bed and then Grace notices the view through the window. She gets up and goes to the window to look. She whistles and says, "Yo, but the guy has a sexy body."

I smile to myself and think, "Yeah, he does." I pull out my phone and open Instagram. While I'm on Instagram, I try not to pay attention to the half-naked Jungkook. He probably hasn't noticed Grace watching yet, because he's walking around shirtless. Grace says, "Damn. He must spend a lot of time at the gym if he has THAT kind of abs and THAT kind of muscles."

I mumble, "Uhh, I guess," trying not to show any interest. After a few seconds, I glance over at the window out of the corner of my eye, and then Jungkook finally notices Grace. He stops at the window facing Grace, still shirtless, then smiles at her and then waves. I stand up and quickly close the curtains, rolling my eyes at Jungkook.

Then I sit down on the bed and say, "Okay, Grace. I have something to tell you. Something that no one else knows." Grace grins, pulls the candy out of my bag, sits down on the bed, and says, "Yay. Well, spill the tea."

***A moment later***

"So you guys almost kissed and have not talked after that? Damn, Min Lee. I see. And so you aren't dating his friend for real. Oh wow, that's a lot. But he said he loved you back in the summer." I say, "I don't think he meant it. He just said it in the heat of the moment." Grace says, "But you don't know for sure." I nod, and then Grace says, "Well. I have an idea for you to find out how he feels about you." I look at Grace and say, "Tell me. I'm all ears."
