Almost like back then (JJK fanfic)

Chapter 7

A few days later the school suspension is finally over and I can return to school. So this morning Jungkook and I decided to go to school together. So he meets me at my place and we take a ride with Minho together. We enter school and are immediately met with Lisa standing there. She immediately jumps to hug him and says:"Oh honey, I'm so glad you're finally back. It was so boring here without you. So good that you're here." 

I sigh and walk away, not wanting to deal with those two. But I stop when Lisa says my name out loud:"Hey. Stop right there, Choi Min Lee." For my surprise, she says:"Glad that you're back as well." I turn around with confusion on my face. Did she really just say something nice to me? 

However I don't have to be confused for long as she continues speaking:"As much as I'm happy that you're back, I do have to warn you. I'm glad you two are friends again but just remember this. I am his girlfriend. Not you. Me. You two are just friends. So remember that and don't cross the line. And don't get your hopes up. He likes me, not you." I nod and roll my eyes. She tries speaking to me again but I just put on my headphones and walk away. 

Hyun Woo and Hong Bin meet me a few steps further. "Welcome back, Min Lee," Hyun Woo greets me, while handing me my favourite drink, "let's go back to lessons. I bet you've been waiting for this for quite some time, haven't you?" I smile and nod excitedly. 

***Some two months later***

Finally december has arrived and Christmas is incoming. After that day, Jungkook and I have only spoken a couple times, mostly because I don't wanna be bothered by Lisa again and talking to Jungkook isn't worth Lisa's annoyed glances. 

Hyun Woo, Hong Bin and I go to the cafeteria and continue a conversation we started earlier. "Come on, just come with us, please, Min Lee." I ask back:"But why do you even wanna go there? Me personally, I'm not interested in events such as this one. And you guys know it very well." Hong Bin replies:"I know that, yeah. But I wanna go and see it. And I don't wanna go alone with this guy and feel like an idiot," he points at Hyun Woo. 

They're trying to get me to go to Christmas talent show that is happening tomorrow in a concert hall nearby. I roll my eyes and reply:"You are an idiot every day. You won't die." He looks at me annoyedly and says:"Wow, I can feel the love." I smile and wink at him. Finally Hyun Woo speaks up:"How can we convince you to come with us?"

I sigh and ask:"You guys aren't gonna leave me alone about it, right?" They share glances and both nod. I raise my hands in surrender and say:"You guys are doing my homework for a week and will buy my lunch for a week." Hong Bin smiles and says:"Fine. Thank you." I reply:"Only because of you guys. Because I love you idiots too much."

They high five each other and I ask:"Who is even gonna be there? I mean in terms of performing." Hyun Woo says:"I have no idea. I only heard of two teams, BTS and Blakcpink. But I have no idea who they are." I ask:"BTS? Blackpink? Sounds lame." Hong Bin says:"Well, we will see tomorrow. Maybe they're good, maybe they're not. One way to find out. You already agreed."
