Chapter 29

***Later***

~Min Lee POV~

I'm hanging out with the girls and boys except for Jungkoook, in my apartment when I suddenly receive a message from someone. Turns out it's from Min Jung, a guy who works in a cafe right by my apartment. He has a big crush on me. 

<MJ. Hey, Min Lee. Can you please come to the cafe? I gotta tell you something. And it's not something that I can say through messages.>

<Me. Right now? I'm a bit busy at the moment.>

<MJ. It's important. Please?>

<Me. Fine, I'll be there in a few minutes.>

I get up from the bed and say:"I will be right back. Min Jung, the guy who works at the cafe has something important to tell me in this right exact moment. Okay?" Jimin gets up and asks:"Maybe you want me to come with you?" I smile and reply:"Thanks, but it will be fine. I'll be right back."

I leave the apartment at a quick pace and quickly go to the cafe. I enter and go to the counter where Min Jung is waiting for me. He smiles when I see me. I approach the man and he says, "Hi, Min Lee." I smile and ask, "Heyy, what did you want to tell me?"

He takes a breath and says, "Uhh, what I will tell you .... It's not easy and nice to say ...... It's about Jungkook." I immediately look at him and ask, "About Jungkook??" Min Jung nods and leans closer to me and quietly tells me what he wanted to say. I listen to what he says and look at him with big eyes.

I have tears in my eyes and I say, "No, can't be....he wouldn't do anything like that. No, he wouldn't. He couldn't do it to me." Min Jung shows on the entrance door and says, "Ask him yourself." I look at the door where the smiling Jungkook stands. He sees my tears and his smile slowly disappears.

I walk to the door quickly and run past him. I hear Jungkook say, "Oh no.... oh no, no. Fuck." I leave the cafe and run to the house, knowing that Jungkook is following me. I keep running and running after me, Jungkook, who says, "Min Lee. Wait."

I enter my apartment and Jungkooks follow me. I drop my jacket on the shoe bench and enter the living room, completely forgetting about people waiting for me in my bedroom. Jungkook enters the room and looks at me. He says, "Please talk to me, Min Lee." I turn to the wall and say, "I can't even look at you now." He comes to me and takes my hands in his own. I pull back my hands and take a couple steps back. Then I say, "Don't touch me. Don't come near me." Jungkook looks at me and says, "Min Lee. I made a mistake. It was a mistake."

I look at him and say, "No, Jungkook. A kiss is a mistake. What you did was no longer mistake. You chose to do it." Jungkook looks at me and says, "Min Lee ....." I answer, "Jungkook, you slept with another woman." I leave the living room and Jungkook follows me. I go to the apartment door and say, "Get out of my apartment. Leave, right now." Jungkook looks at me and says, "No. I want to stay and I want to talk about it. We have to talk about it."

I close the door, turn against him and say, "Well. Let's talk about it. How was she??" Jungkook asks: ".... what ??" I asked, "Was she good in bed?" He doesn't answer and I say, "Well come on. You wanted to talk about it. Then let's talk. How was she ??" He hesitates for a moment and says, "She ..... she ..... she was ....... different." I glare at him and furiously ask him, "Good different??" Jungkook enter the living room, sigh and say, "Nobody likes change." I pick up a book and start hitting his arm, growling cuss words.

After a moment I take a few steps back, drop the book on the floor and go behind the couch, turning my back to Jungkook. Jungkook grabs the book, turns towards me, comes closer to me and says, "I'm sorry, okayy? I'm really sorry for what happened. I am ashamed of myself and I feel disgusting. And this morning I was so angry with myself and then I got your message. And I was so happy. And all I wanted was to get her out of my apartment as soon as possible."

He touches me at my hand, I look at him and say, "Wait, wait. Wait a minute. When did your little  girl friend leave?" Jungkooks look at me and I understand. I put my hands in front of my mouth and say, "Oh my God. She was there ?? She was there when I was there?" Jungkook gulps and gives me back the book. I grab it and start hitting him again while murmuring all the bad words I could think of. Jungkook steps back and says, "Listen. My point is, she didn't mean anything to me. Nothing."

"And yet she was worth ruining our relationship." I lift the book and throw it against him, but he avoids it and the book hits my bedroom door. I step towards the couch again and Jungkook says, "Hey. I didn't think we still had a relationship to ruin. I thought we were broken up." I look at him and say, "We had taken a break." "The break, as far as I thought, could last for eternity. To me, it meant that we were over." I look at him and asked, "You think you will get out of this with technical details?"

Jungkook says, "I'm not trying to get out of anything, okay? I thought our relationship is through." As I move away from him, I say, "Well .... I can see how you mourned." Jungkook looks at me with sad eyes. I go to the kitchen, take a glass of water, drink and then say, "And I had to find out from the Min Jung?"

Jungkook says, "Yes, as if I wanted him to tell you. I ran all over the city to make sure you didn't find out." I smile and say sarcastic, "Aww, that's so sweet. I think I fell in love again." Jungkook drops the gaze and then, after a second, says, "Listen, Min Lee. I wanted to tell you. I thought I have to tell you, really. But then a friend convinced me not to do so." I raise my eyebrow at him and ask:"What friend?" He says:"A colleague, you don't know him."

I say:"Wow, how lovely. Your colleagues get to find out faster than me." Jungkook sighs and keeps talking:"Don't you understand ?? None of this would have happened if I hadn't thought at the same time that you were doing it with Andy at the same time?" I sit down, sigh and say, "Okay. Okay. Let's say I would have slept with Andy ?? Would you have been able to forgive me?" Jungkook looks at me for a long time and then says, "Yes, I would." I get up and say, "You would be fine if you knew Andy had kissed me and was naked with me and had sex with me ??"

Jungkook says, ".... yes." I go excitedly: "You would know that our hot, sweaty bodies were together and ...." Jungkook closes ears and begins to make noise so he doesn't hear anything further. After a few seconds, he removes his hands from his ears and says, "Okay, I would have been broken, but I would still like to be with you because it .... I mean because it's you."

***Sometime later***

I sit in the kitchen at my table and Jungkook is sitting next to me. I sigh and Jungkook asks, "What? Come on, Min Lee. Say what do you think?" I was silent for a moment, but then I say, "I think ............... that I will order a pizza." I get up and go to the phone. Jungkook turns in a chair and asks, "You will order pizza, like ...." I forgive you"?" I look at him and he turns back and drops his gaze.

Then he asks, "Hey, can I also get a pizza? I look at him and say, "Fine." He replies, "Please pizza without potatoes." I say on the phone, "Hello. Yes, I would like one pizza. With extra potatoes." Jungkook smiles awkwardly and says, "It's okay, I'll just pick them off from the pizza." Italk on the phone still, "Yeah, if you could, please, cut up some potatoes too, and put them in the dough, I would be very grateful to you." Jungkook lowers the gaze and then I finish the order.

He gets up and then speaks, "Min Lee ...... Really. I wouldn't have done it if I had thought we were still together. My goal wasn't to hurt you." I look at him with tears in my eyes and, pushing a fake smile, say, "Ah yes. Indeed. It makes it much better. It makes it forgivable." I drop the gaze and say, "You know, Jungkook. I keep always thinking that you won't hurt me anymore. I think if we are together and love each other then nothing can go wrong anymore. But it looks like I was wrong."

Jungkook comes closer and says, "I really love you, min Lee. More than everything in the world." I nod and he says, "I thought we were over. And it was so terribly painful that I drank with the hope that it would end the hurt or at least hurt less. I thought everything was through. Because I thought, that you ended our relationship yesterday. " I look at him and say, "And yet you are the one who ended our relationship completely." Jungkook gets up and say, "You know, you need 2 people to break the relationship." I look at him and say, "Yeah, and they were you and that girl from the club."
