Lani looked around the kitchen of the new apartment.
"How do you think we can make it less ugly?" She asked.
Jisung walked in, carrying another box.
"We could paint it?" He asked.
Lani nodded. "How about yellow?" She asked excitedly.
"Like... The whole kitchen? Yellow?" He asked.
She nodded.
"That's exactly what I was thinking, too." Jisung pretended.
"Which kind of yellow? Like Butter? Mustard? Canary? Gold? Lemon?" She asked seriously.
Jisung's brain buffered. "Uhhhh... Just yellow." He said, shaking his head in confusion.
Lani sighed. "I'll pick it myself then."
Jisung laughed awkwardly. "If you insist."
They finished unpacking their things and getting more settled into their new place.
They ordered pizza, and after they ate, Jisung made his way to the bed to have a nap.

Jisung woke up to the sound of something banging.
He opened his eyes groggily. He looked at his phone. 9:41 pm. He had slept for way longer than he initially thought.
He got up and hopped off the bed, speeding out to the other room. "Woah." He said, his mouth falling open in shock.
"Lani, you are literally insane."
"What?!" She asked, turning to him.
She was standing on the counter with a paintbrush in her hand. She had dried paint on both her cheeks, and she was painting the inside of the cupboard doors.
"When did you get all this stuff?" Jisung asked, walking around the cans of psint and random boxes that he didn't recognize.
"I went to Home Depot while you were sleeping." Lani said nonchalantly, turning her attention back to what she was doing.
Jisung gave a concerned nod. "I hope the landlord likes yellow." He said as he looked around.
"We can paint it white again before we move out." Lani said.
Jisung grimaced and gave a nervous nod.
