Chan and Amelia are 36.
"This is niiiiice." Chan said, opening the curtains.
"Wow. You can actually see the ocean from here!" Amelia said.
Chan laughed.
They smiled at each other.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Amelia asked.
"That we order room service and lay in bed?" Chan asked.
Amelia smiled brightly. "Exactly."
They both laid down feeling completely exhausted.
"My back is killing me." Amelia said.
"I'll get your pillow." Chan said, groaning as he pushed himself back up.
He came back with the pillow in hand.
"We must be totally insane." Chan said.
"We are." Amelia agreed.
Chan counted on his fingers. "This will be kid number 11. I've definitely lost it."
Amelia laughed. "Well, you didn't raise all of them since they were babies though."
"You're right. It's only baby number 5... Or 6 if I count Jeongin, but he was a toddler, not exactly a baby." Chan said.
"Oh God. That's still a lot."
"Yeah. I have a patch of grey hair." Chan laughed. "It started because of Minho, and then progressively got worse. Pretty soon my hair will be falling out. Do you think I'd look good bald?"
Amelia laughed. "No. I don't think so."
"How come you don't have any grey hair?" Chan asked, plopping back onto the bed.
"Genetics." Amelia smiled. "You know what? We haven't gotten to have a conversation like this for a long time."
"Since before we got married probably." Chan added.
"Yeah. Pretty much."
"So do you feel pretty calm about the birth? Everything went smoothly last time." Chan said.
