A/N I'm sorry for this chapter. For Felix.
JoJo put Teddie in the portable crib beside the bed.
She looked at Juno sprawled out on top of Hyunjin and she sighed.
She went to the bed, lifting up the covers and she got in.
Hyunjin looked at her with a proud smile.
She giggled. "Is there room for me here?"
"A little bit I guess." Hyunjin teased.
She scooted closer to him and tried to lean on the free space on his shoulder.
Hyunjin leaned over and kissed her forehead.
"Today was a wild day." She said.
Hyunjin nodded sadly.
"That was terrible." She whispered.
Hyunjin sighed and looked down at Juno. "It was terrifying." He whispered back.
JoJo reached out and brushed Juno's hair out of his face.
"I'm already at the brink of losing my sanity, I don't think I can do the teenage years with this kid." JoJo said playfully.
Hyunjin kissed Juno's head again. "He's going to give us a run for our money."
JoJo nodded.
"Did I do the right thing today? Was I too hard on him?" Hyunjin asked quietly.
"I don't know. He seemed really upset at first." JoJo said.
Hyunjin looked sad. "I think I over reacted. Maybe we didn't have to leave. Maybe we could've stayed and watched the waterfall more."
"I think leaving was fine. It would've been more stressful to stay after what happened." JoJo said.
Hyunjin sighed. "I guess I mean that I feel bad about just demanding that we leave suddenly."
"It's okay. It was understandable." She said.
"Yeah, but did you want to stay?" He asked.
She shrugged. "I don't know. I felt too emotional to think or make a decision. That's why I let you decide."
He looked at her with a raised brow. "I don't mean to be bossy though."
She sighed and looked down. "Jin." She said pointedly. "You're always the same. And I know that. When we make big decisions, we always talk first. But you're always a bit stubborn. And if I minded it, I would tell you. But I always liked that about you. You're determined. I always tell you when I don't like something, and you always listen to me. But for the most part, I just let you make decisions for our family."
Hyunjin was confused now. "Lovey, what in tarnation are you talking about?!" He asked dramatically.
"I'm saying that I trust you and I respect your decisions." She said.
Hyunjin froze, unsure why. Something about the way she said it felt like it put so much pressure on him, even if it actually changed nothing. He looked at her nervously. "Why are you... No, I mean... What's this about? Like, why are you saying this now? Do you normally just go along with what I say?"
"Not always. But if I don't agree with you, I just tell you. And we talk about things. But normally, yeah. But it's not because I can't think for myself or something. It's that we've been married almost 10 years, so I've had time to test out different things on you."
"I've been a test rat for almost 10 years and didn't know it?" Hyunjin gasped.
"Yes." She giggled. "And I trust you, because you've passed the tests. You've always come up with ways to take care of our family. And I've found that I like this way of doing things, because we're working towards a common goal. Years ago, we had some problems with miscommunications. And I basically told you to step it up, and YOU DID. You've never missed saying prayers with us. You've never missed talking with Juno at night. Our family is together more, and you're always more concerned about how I feel about things now." JoJo said slowly.
