"Eden, we're not here to buy a dog. Let's go."
"But he's so cute!" She pleaded.
"We're going to a different store, and we're buying a wedding present. Let's go."
"But daddy, why can't I have a pet? I'm really responsible!" Eden reasoned.
Chan sighed. "Listen, I'll think about the pet thing, okay? But you're not getting it today. We'll have to talk and see what mama thinks, and we'll have to see if you're really ready to take care of one. Now we have to go. Come on."
Eden pouted as she put her hand up to the glass. "Bye bye, Cookie." She said sadly.
Chan took Eden's hand as they walked through the mall, past all the fancy stores.
Finally they got to the place they were going.
Eden looked around. Everything looked so fancy and new.
"Are we buying uncle Jisung ALL this furniture?" Eden asked.
Chan laughed. "No way."
"Then what are we buying?"
"An appliance set."
"Like a toaster?"
"A set. A toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee maker... That kind of thing."
"Oh." Eden hummed as they got into the kitchen section. Her jaw dropped as she saw the beautiful barbie-ish appliances.
She quickly pointed at the kitchen display. "These ones!" She said, running toward it.
