JoJo walked into the kitchen after putting Juno to bed.
"Jin, can you pick up Juno from preschool tomorrow? I'm going out with a coworker tomorrow to do a project." She explained.
"Ummm. I don't get off till 4:00." He said.
"Can you please get off early?" She asked desperately.
Hyunjin sighed. "I'll ask."
"Okay, because yesterday at coffee, Joseph and I planned on tomorrow. There's really no other time." JoJo said.
"Woah, woah woah.... Joseph? Coffee?" Hyunjin repeated, his stomach tightening.
"Yes." JoJo said nonchalantly.
"You went for coffee? With Joseph?" Hyunjin asked.
JoJo rolled her eyes. "A FEW of us went for coffee." She explained.
"Why didn't you tell me about this "coffee"?" Hyunjin asked.
"Well, I have coffee everyday. I'm sorry. I didn't know you would care. Yesterday I had a vanilla bean latte." JoJo joked.
Hyunjin narrowed his eyes at her.
"Don't do that! I hate it. You look scary." JoJo whined.
Hyunjin sighed, trying to soften his expression. "Are there going to be a few of you tomorrow as well?"
"Just the two of us are on this project." She said.
Hyunjin narrowed his eyes again. "No."
"No?" JoJo laughed.
"He's probably a creep." Hyunjin said.
"A creep? Jinnie, we work together."
"Does he know you're married?"
"Everyone knows I'm married. I bring Juno to work with me half the time too."
"Do they know you're HAPPILY married?"
JoJo laughed, going over to Hyunjin and putting her arms around his waist. "Why are you worried about this?" She asked.
"Because Joseph has a vibe. A bad vibe." Hyunjin pouted.
"Don't you trust me?" JoJo asked.
"You? Yes. Him? No."
"Jinnieeee~"
"Joeeeeey~"
"Please. Just don't make a big deal out of it. We need to get this project done." JoJo said.
"Then do it here... Tomorrow after work. Just come here." Hyunjin said.
"So that you can watch him?" JoJo asked.
Hyunjin nodded eagerly.
JoJo laughed.
"What? There shouldn't be a problem with that." He said.
"Well Joseph suggested going to that new place by our studio, because it's quiet and we could focus..." She said.
"That Italian restaurant?" Hyunjin interrupted.
She nodded her head.
Hyunjin laughed sarcastically.
He pulled away and turned to start putting away some dishes in order to calm down.
"What's funny?" JoJo asked, annoyed.
Hyunjin leaned back against the counter angrily.
"What's funny is that "Joseph" wants to take you out for dinner." Hyunjin laughed to mask his anger.
