It was the day after the get together.
Seungmin was searching all around for Eden's pacifier.
She kept screaming and crying, but no one could find her soother.
Seungmin looked all around her crib and even under Chan and Amelia's bed. He finally went to check Chan's nightstand. Maybe someone had tossed it in there.
He shuffled some stuff around, and something caught his eye.
He picked up a crumpled looking letter and began reading it.
His heart skipped a beat as he realized who it was from.
He shoved it in his pocket and quickly went to find Jisung.
Jisung was in the kitchen eating cereal.
"Sung! Come here." He said urgently.
Jisung put down his bowl and followed Seungmin to his bedroom in the basement.
They sat on Seungmin's bed. "Here. Read this." He said to Jisung.
Jisung's eyes widened as he read it.
Then he set it down on the bed but continued staring at it as if to study it.
"Why didn't Dad tell us?" He asked.
"That's what I'm wondering." Seungmin said angrily.
"Well let's ask him." Jisung said.
"Wait. We have to show Felix." Seungmin said.
They texted Felix to come down, and as soon as Felix read the letter, he asked the same question.
"Why did Dad hide this from us?!"
Jisung and Seungmin both shrugged in reply.
The triplets marched upstairs and went straight to Chan.
Chan was in the kitchen, and as soon as the triplets came in, he started scolding Jisung.
"Jisung, how many times have I told you not to leave dirty dishes on the counter?" He asked.
Jisung didn't respond.
Chan turned to look at him and saw 3 angry faces.
"What's wrong?" He asked, concerned.
Seungmin put the letter down on the counter.
Chan inhaled sharply and closed his eyes in a frustrated realization.
"Hyung, why didn't you tell us?" Seungmin asked angrily.
Chan sighed. He leaned back against the counter. "Why were you snooping in my stuff?" He asked.
"Answer the question, hyung." Jisung demanded.
Chan widened his eyes in surprise. "What did you just say?"
"Hyung, you owe us an explanation." Felix defended.
Chan pursed his lips. All 3 of them just called him "hyung" instead of "dad"... They were definitely mad at him.
"Okay. Fine. I didn't tell you because you were still 17 at the time, and I didn't want you to see her." Chan said.
"Why did you decide that on your own?! She said she wants to see us, and she's doing better. She said she feels bad!" Seungmin said.
"I know she SAYS that." Chan said.
"Who are you to decide that we can't see her?!" Jisung said.
"Why have you been keeping this from us for months?! It's your fault we don't have a relationship with her. You always hide us from her!" Felix whined, clearly upset.
