Changbin bobbed his head back and forth as he listened to the loud music blast into his ears.
He laid back, carefully ducking under the bar of the bench press when out of the corner of eye, he saw Mina walk into the gym.
He shot up abruptly, smacking his head into the bar.
He held his forehead in pain when she suddenly looked over.
He threw his hands down to his sides in embarrassment.
She giggled a little bit.
He smiled.
She walked over as he stood up.
"Hey. Thanks for finally texting me." She giggled.
"Oh!" Changbin said nervously. "I didn't realize you were waiting..." he started.
"Yeah, well, I had been looking for a personal trainer for a while. And I wondered why you never texted." She explained.
Changbin suddenly felt stupid. "Wait, uhhh... I don't... I don't work here."
"What?" She asked.
"Sorry, I think I must've given you the wrong idea... I just... yeah." He stuttered.
"Oh. But you said last time that you could help me." She said.
"Right! I meant in more of like a casual sort of way." He said.
"Oh." She said, stepping back awkwardly.
"If that's not what you were expecting, then I totally understand if you want to just pretend this didn't happen." Changbin said politely.
She smiled. "Umm. It's okay. I could still use the help... I don't really know what I'm doing here."
Changbin smiled. "I can help."
From then on, Changbin met Mina every Monday evening at the gym.
Their gym meets gradually turned into gym dates, which gradually turned into going to eat after, which gradually turned into going to her place after eating.
