Jisung got home from work just after 3:30.

He walked into an empty apartment. He breathed a sigh of relief, just grateful to be alone for a while.

He turned on the t.v. and laid back into the couch.

After almost 2 hours, Lani came in the door.

Despite being 6 months pregnant, she was bubbly and excited as ever.

"Peteypie?" She called out.

Jisung pushed himself off the couch and went to the door to give her a hug.

His eyes grew large as he stopped in his tracks. "What is that?" He asked, looking at the box in her hands.

"Can you take it? It's kind of heavy." She said.

Jisung went to take the box from her. "Lani, you don't need more stuff. Why did you buy this?" He asked, reading the label of the Amazon package.

"I do need it. You don't even know what it is." She said.

Jisung sighed. "What is it?"

"A light fixture." She said. "For the baby's room."

"Lani, the baby isn't going to care what the light looks like." Jisung groaned.

Lani pouted.

"How much did this cost?" He asked.

She shrugged.

"Lani, just tell me." Jisung begged.

"Like... $260?" She whispered.

"You wasted 260 on a stupid light fixture?!" Jisung gasped.

"It's not "wasting"" Lani whined.

Jisung turned and banged his head into the cupboard in frustration.

He turned back around furiously. "I can't believe you spent that much on something we don't need!" He spat.

She gulped. "It's cute, though!" She said defensively.

He opened the box with a scowl on his face. "This is NOT worth that much. I could buy a new guitar with that much money. We could buy like 10 boxes of diapers at Costco for that much money. But a light fixture?!"

She tried to lighten the mood by acting cute. "Well, I'm sorry." She said, going up and kissing his cheek.
