PoV Kai
"Why do I have to come?", I whined, as my sister dragged me behind her.

"Because, my dear brother, that market is full of thieves, as always. We need to find and arrest them.", Nya huffed. I whined. I didn't want to go to the rennaisance fair. Especially not in the outfit they put me into.

I looked ridiculous.

"Stop whining! It's gonna be fun!", Cole laughed. I huffed, annoyed by his very presence right now.

Eventually we arrived at the event. It was actually quite cool, but I wouldn't admit that. There were cute women, but I didn't really get to shoot my shot.

In the evening, there was a fire show. I was fascinated. There were two young women in charge, the obviously younger one telling a story and the stunning, gorgeous one was bringing it to life.

Her hair purpleish red hair was a bit over shoulder length. She was so beautiful.

She collected donations afterwards. When she reached us, I said: "can I donate my number?"

She rolled her eyes.

"Sure, Cassanova. If you're ready for not getting a call.", she smiled innocently.

"So you'll send me a message? Nice. I'm Kai.", I tried again.

"And I'm busy.", she chuckled.

What a woman.

When we went home, Jay didn't stop joking. "Kai is in lo-ove! Kai is in lo-ove!", he kept teasing me.

"We going back there tomorrow, aren't we?", Cole chimed in.

"Yep. Still didn't find these thieves.", Lloyd sighed.

"We're going back? I gotta be prepared!", I blurted out.

Then I blushed slightly, embarrassed by my outburst.

The next day, we split up on the fair.

I was supposed to keep an eye on a few stands, but instead I snuck away, to see the woman again. I was so drawn to her, it was crazy.

After her show, she and her sister collected donations again.

"Ugh, you again.", the woman sighed, but she was smiling softly.

"Yeah, me. Kai. Just an ordinary Kai, I mean, guy! A guy who wanted to see you.", I stumbled over my words.

"Please, accept my number. And please text me!", I blurted out.

Suddenly she looked nervous. It was only a few seconds, then she smiled again, but I saw.

"Are you alright?", I asked.

"Of course.", she chuckled.

I looked around.

"You sure?", I sighed.

She walked past me.

I sighed and went to those stands I was supposed to watch. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Hey. We're closing soon, but...you wanna head back to my trailer?", the woman asked.

"I mean, I have places to be, hearts to break, you know-", I started.

"Don't push your luck!", she laughed. I followed her like a little lamb.

"My name is Luminara, by the way.", she spoke up.
