My Fault (Greenflame)

"It's to dangerous to fight them now!", Nya argued.

Lloyd felt betrayed.

"But they have my mother! We have to get her before she gets hurt!"

Kai sighed from his seat.

The new villains had taken Misako in their first battle when Wu and her were waiting in the ship.

"Kai! Tell them I'm right.", the green Ninja then ordered.

Kai shook his head.

"Lloyd, sweetheart, just wait a little longer till we have a good plan", he said clearly.

Lloyd stomped his foot like a little kid and left the room.

Everyone was asleep when Lloyd got dressed and sneaked out of the house.

But when he reached his new car, he couldn't find his keys.

"Looking for these?", a familiar voice said.

Kai appeared out of the shadow, holding the keys up.

Lloyd looked away and grabbed for them.

"I have to save her. Even if it's the last thing I do", he sighed.

Kai grabbed his hand and kissed it gently.

"It won't be. I'll make sure of that"

PoV Lloyd

It went surprisingly well.

After 30 minutes we had my mum and were leaving their hideout.

Suddenly Kai stopped in his tracks.

"This is to easy.", he growled.

We all went quiet.

"It's a trap!", my red Ninja suddenly yelled, pushing me to the side.

He was right. An arrow passed me and got stuck in the wall, right where I was standing seconds before.

It didn't take long for me to snap out of the shock and get ready to fight.

"Get Misako out to the car, I'll stop them as long as possible. Don't turn around and don't come back", Kai yelled.

I nodded.

When we reached the car we waited for Kai.

"I should help him", I thought out loud.

"He told you not to", Mum replied.

"And the others told me not to get you, but we're fine", I mumbled.

Suddenly I could smell smoke.

It was coming out of the doors of the hideout.

Only a minute later my boyfriend ran out.

He didn't even bother get in the car seat, when he already screamed for me to drive.

I did as I was told, driving as fast as possible.

When I looked back for a second I could see their leader smirking.

Nobody was after us.

That made me stop ten minutes away from our home.

"Kai, what happened in there?", I asked.

Kai didn't answer my question.

He didn't even turn his head.

He was just blankly staring into nothing.

That's when I noticed the blood.

It was all over his hands, drenching his suit in its sickly dark color.

Mum immediately turned around to, gasping.

"Please tell me you can fix him", I almost begged.

Mum replied: "I can try."

PoV Kai

When I woke up I could feel a hand holding mine.

"Morning babe", I smiled, ignoring the pain.

"Kai! Thank God, you are alive! I was so scared", suddenly he looked at the ground.

"I'm so sorry.", he then said.

I smiled and went back to sleep.
