Takes place after the tournament of elements, but really? Does not matter.
Oh, and this is based on the real Jumanji, not the one with the Rock.
PoV Cole
"Guys? Do you hear it now?", I asked the others. Jay, Kai and Zane had followed me into the woods when I had ran off after the noise of drums."Cole, this is crazy, let's just head back!", Kai called out. Suddenly Jay hushed us.
"I hear it too. It's coming out of that cave!", he called out, pointing at the cave we had discovered earlier that day, when we arrived at the Holliday resort.
"There's nothing in this!", Kai pouted. He was still angry. He had been the whole day, nobody knew why.
"Go pout somewhere else! We're going after that noise.", I replied.
"No. I will proof that you are crazy...by not walking around in the woods alone.", the brunette huffed.
We entered the cave and Zane immediately scanned everything.
Kai kicked a stone.
The way parted into too.
"Left.", I said.
"Right.", Kai replied.
"Nows not the time. Left.", I growled.
"I'll go right.", Kai growled back. Then we went in different directions.
After we had walked down the dark path for a bit, I heard a scream.
"Kai!", we called out in synchronization, spun around and ran back, taking his path.
We found Kai on front of an open board game.
"It's alive!", Kai cried out.
"Okay, let's take this to Wu. And you belong into bed, Mister 'we are crazy'.", said Jay.
Suddenly three other figures were added to the monkey that was already on the board.
"What the actual", I said.
Then Zane read out what was written on the sides of the board:
"Jumanji: a game for those who seek to find a way to leave their world behind. You roll the dice to move your token, doubles gets another turn, the first player to reach the end wins."
On the other side Jay read quickly:
"Adventurers beware: do not begin unless you intend to finish. The exciting consequences of the game will vanish only when a player has reached Jumanji and called out its name."
And then Kai dropped the two dice.
At first nothing happened, then the monkey moved three steps.
"What did you do?!", I called out.
"My hands were nervous okay?!", Kai yelled back.
"Watch out!", Jay joined in.
Kai and I started fighting.
"Watch out!", Jay called.
Then a giant insect landed on me and by giant I might have to mention that it made an elephant out of a mosquito.
I screamed, then screamed even louder when Kai burned it down.
"Can you not burn giant mosquitoes on top of me?!", I cried out.
"Oh, sorry, you want them to eat you? Because there's more of them!", Kai replied.
"They came out of the game! Adventurers, be careful by night, those little fellas will have a bite!", Zane stated wayyy to calm.
"Little fellas?!", Kai chuckled, while burning the animals that were attacking us.
"Will they go away if we roll those dice?", Jay thought out loud. Then he just did.
"She did not escape no zoo, take care before she strangled you", he read out.
"What's that supposed to mean?", Kai asked, ripping the head of a mosquito off. Disgusting.
"I think it's supposed to give us a hint of that gigantic snake that just blocked the only entrance. I can see its eye.", Zane stated.
"Great. I'm in a cave with mosquitos, that is blocked by a snake. Oh, and you're here!", Kai huffed.
"Oh, so we're a bigger problem?", I asked. Then I sat down and rolled the dice.
"What are you doing?!", the red Ninja asked angrily.
"It's my turn. The game said the effects will vanish once we finish the game! So we gotta finish!", I said.
A few minutes later we were fighting some very disgusting mummies. Zane had told us they were bog bodies, but I didn't care.
After Zanes turn the cave was shaking and that made the snake angry. She started pushing her body towards us.
"Wow, going after this stupid noise was such a great idea! I love this resort!",Kai yelled, dripping irony like poison.
"Really? That topic? Kai, we had a democratic agreement. Everyone wanted to go to a resort at the ocean with water activities! What's so wrong with that?", I replied.
Kai dropped the dice, but they didn't stop rolling because of the shaking ground. When they did the rocks came down. I used my elemental powers to save us.
Zane grabbed the game and dice and we made our way out of there.
We came to a stop in a clearing Jay rolled again.
Dice were rolled,Monsters were let out,but we did get close to the end.
Kai rolled again and suddenly the water in the pretty lake next to us started rising. I grabbed the game, Jay grabbed the dice, Zane grabbed for Kai, just as the water hit us.
I felt like the whole resort was under water and it was rising.
Luckily there was a lost boat coming our way, that we climbed into.
"Kai? Kai!", I yelled out and looked around for him.
Kai was a bit away from us, visibly struggling to keep his head over the water.
"FOR FUCKS SAKE, SWIM!", I yelled, but he just hit the water around him in pure panic.
With Zane's help we reached our friend and pulled him up.
Kai looked horrified.
"Kai, why didn't you swim?", Jay asked seriously.
Right there Kai burst into panicky tears.
"I can't swim and I'm scared of deep water! You satisfied?!", He cried out.
With the next role Jay won the game, said Jumanji and everything vanished.
Everything, except for Kai's panic.
We took him to Wu.
"Why didn't you tell us sooner?", I asked, after Wu had calmed him down with tea.
"It's embarrassing...", He gave up his guard.
"No,it's not. Everyone's scared of something.", Jay huffed.
Kai nodded slowly.
"Next holiday we listen to you and do something that's actually fun for all of us.", I smiled.
"What do we do with the game?", Kai then wanted to know.
"I don't know? Apparently it can't be destroyed. Let's give it to the museum."
~~267 years later~~
A Tourguide stood in front an empty area: "And this is where the old museum stood, that had to close 110 years ago. Hey, what's that noise?"
