Yash finger ran down her legs as Aarti slowly moaned. His lips moved towards her neck as he began leaving love bites everywhere.
Aarti tried to tell him to stop, not because she wanted him to but because she knew that there's no coming back from this. His finger traced up her thighs, causing her to swallow her saliva.
"Tell me you don't want this and I'll stop"
He looked at he.
"I don't"
She said in a whisper and Yash lifted up her cheek, to face him.
"Then why is your heart beating so fast? Why are you so flushed, jaan?"
He asked and Aarti looked away.
"Tell me this doesn't feel good"
His finger rubbed her inner thigh in circular motion, making Aarti close her eyes.
"Tell me you don't miss my touch"
His finger found her entrance and Aarti gasped as she looked at him. He slowly entered his finger in her and gently rubbed the top.
"Why are you doing this?"
Aarti said, almost out of breath.
"Because you say one thing but your body is responding differently"
He smirked as he removed his finger and it was moist. Aarti became red with embarrassment; now Yash knows that he has that effect on her.
He lifted up her skirt and bent down, while Aarti tightly gripped her skirt. She knew exactly what he was about to do, and although she dreamt about this moment many times, she knew that they'll both regret this. He placed his face in between her legs and Aarti let out a loud moan.
"Yash"
She tried to tell him to stop but it was too late, his tongue was already in her. She moaned even louder as Yash went down on her. He slowly placed her on the bed and they made passionate love for the first time in years.
The next morning Yash woke up to an empty bed. He was muddled at first; last night Aarti fell asleep in his arm. He searched the entire mansion but there was no sign of her. He sat on the edge of his bed, his hand holding his head, when his eyes caught a note on the night stand.
You and I could never be together Yash, we're too different. Let's just pretend last night never happened and move on with our lives. Thank you for all the amazing memories, they really were wonderful. I emailed you my resignation letter; hopefully now you can regain your reputation with me gone. Please don't bother looking for me; by the time you get this note, I'd be long gone.
After finding out that Aarti is gone, Yash began to pace frantically. Did their night together mean nothing to her? How could she just leave him, again? His phone began to ring, Mansi was on the other end of the line.
"Aarti moved out of the apartment"
Mansi voice trembled.
"What? Where is she?"
Yash began to panic.
"I. I can't say"
Mansi sobbed quietly.
"Mansi, I'm begging you. if you know where Aarti is, then please tell me. I can't lose her again"
His voice was softer this time.
"I promised her I won't say"
Mansi paused for a moment, making Yash scared.
"But she's making a mistake running away. Yash, she's at the train station. But hurry, her train leaves in an hour"
Mansi continued and Yash thanked her. He rushed out of the house and sped towards the train station. His heart began to beat rapidly at the thought of losing Aarti, once again. As he got to the station, he began frantically searching for her. He heard the whistle and watched as the train drove away. Feeling defeated, he slowly walked away. His mind was all over the place; the love of his life was gone and he couldn't stop her. Why didn't her tell her how he truly felt before she left his house? Why did he let her leave? Aarti was gone and it was all his fault. If only, he thought to himself. As he got to the exit, a small smile crossed his lips. Aarti was sitting on a bench, inches away from him. Yash walked up to her, startling her.
"Yash?"
Her voice was low.
"How did you find me?"
She asked as he sat down beside her.
"Mansi"
He rubbed the back of his head.
"Of course"
She let out a sigh.
"Please don't be mad at Mansi, she was only trying to help"
He continued and Aarti rested her head on the back of the bench.
"I'm not mad at her"
She said, avoiding eye contact with him.
"Why are you here, Yash? Did you not get my note?"
Her voice was a soft whisper.
"Why are you running away?"
He asked as he raised her chin up to face him.
"I can't do this anymore, Yash"
Her voice almost broke.
"This city isn't for me anymore"
A tear rolled down her cheek.
"Why would you leave everything behind?"
He asked as he wiped her tears away.
"Everything? Last I checked, I have nothing. No mom, no job, no self-respect"
She finally looked at him and all he saw was agony in her eyes.
"You still have your job and your self-respect, jaan. Nothing has changed"
He held her cheeks but she gently pushed him away.
"Nothing has changed? I slept with my boss; who by the way has a fiancé"
She yelled.
"Had a fiancé. I'm no longer engaged to her"
He looked at her and for a moment she relaxed.
"That doesn't change anything Yash. We're not right for each other"
She looked at him.
"Had you read the note I left then maybe you'd understand"
She sighed.
"I did"
He said softly, making her raise an eyebrow.
"I read your note and I disagree. I think you and I are perfect together"
He continued, making Aarti eyes widen.
