Last night was a blur for Echo.

All she could remember was driving in her car and then falling asleep in the apartment she rented out a couple weeks before she got there. Heck, she couldn't even comprehend where her car was or how she got that massive head ache.

A text message woke her up that morning. She groaned as the phone dinged repeatedly, the birds' chirping adding to the noise. After opening her eyes, she rubbed them, scratching the side of her nose. She looked to her outfit; she was still in her everyday clothes from last night. Dang, she must've been tired if she got too lazy to even change into some pajamas.

She sat up and smoothed out the top of her ponytail, just to make it a bit neater. The sun beamed through the blinds of the bedroom, shining directly in her retinas. She ignored it while grabbing her annoying phone from her dresser next to the bed. She went to messages and saw it was Elena.

Lena <3: Echo! Where are you??? You're having me worried sick! You should've been here last night! Pick up the phone!!!!!!

"Oh gosh," Echo thought. She quickly typed a reply.

Sorry, last night was a real blur. I stopped at my apartment to have some rest. I know I should've called you to let you know. I'm sorry.

After sending it, she plopped back in her bed, pressing her arm against her now closed eyes to continue her peaceful sleep. Not even two minutes later, that annoying ding sounded again.

"You little ..." She mumbled to her phone, getting frustrated rapidly. She slammed her hand on the phone, not removing her arm from her eyes. She only moved it upward slightly and peered one eye open.

Lena <3: Thank God, you had me worried sick. I still haven't seen you! Come by right away! The address is 598 Abernathy Road. I'll see you in a bit, Co!

Echo let out a huge sigh, hissed and then threw the phone across the room so it hit the wall. She had ... pretty bad temper problems. When you catch her in a bad mood, she tends to over react, break things and overall hurt other people's feelings. Getting up in anger, she ruffled up her hair and screamed.

"Just let me be LAZY!"

Soon after snuggling her face in the palms of her hands, she looked to the wall once more and stared at her phone, the screen being partially shattered. She snapped out of her tantrum and shuffled over to it quickly.

"Oh shoot ..." She mumbled as she picked up her cracked phone.

This morning for Echo told her that the day might be a whole lot worse.

"Well, this was it," Echo thought to herself as she was perched outside the front door, "598 Abernathy Road." The house was colossally big, way too big for Elena to afford at seventeen years old. The sun was almost all the way up in the bright blue cloudless sky. There was only a tad bit of orange dotted under it and a spray of lemonade yellow glowing above it. The cool summer breeze flowed harmoniously with the setting. She was glad she wore a jacket that day to go along with her outfit.

She took a deep breath and then knocked on the door, afterwards fixing her long, wavy brown hair over to one side of her shoulder, just so she didn't look like she threw something on the morning. Suddenly, the doorknob started to turn. Expecting it to be Elena, she smiled as the door crept open ... but it immediately faded once she saw who it was. It was a man, about in his twenties, with his light brown hair in a whiff and bright green-brown eyes staring her down in confusion. He had a chiseled chin and bushy eyebrows, with a thin, gray shirt on. Katherine Stephen thought.
