OK GUYS..

So I have decided to give you an ending, yes, but let me just say that I am skipping ahead.

Don't worry, you didn't miss much.

Basically, Klaus almost went through with the ritual and successfully killed Jenna in the process blush

Right when he was about to kill Elena, Kol threatened to kill Echo if hhe went through with it any further. Klaus accused him of bluffing, but he proved him wrong when he instantly snapped her neck, causing her to drop to the ground.

Everyone was shocked, and Klaus nearly cried at the sight of the love of his life dead before his very eyes.

Or so he thought ...

Kol knew that she was more than likely a vampire from the moment she shoved him, and because of that, he realized that a quick snap of the neck wouldn't kill her. Klaus promised that he'd call off the ritual as long as he was guaranteed Echo's return.

And lo and behold, Echo regained consciousness a few seconds later.

Long story short, there was a funeral for Jenna, everyone got used to the idea of her being a vampire, and all was pretty much resolved from that point on.

And since all of that is out of the way ... let me introduce you to the last two chapters of Poisoned Love!

Now grab your swimming goggles because we're about to dive right in!

Too cheesy?

Yeah?

Okay.

Echo could hear a knock on her bedroom door. She was enjoying a book, The Fault in Our Stars, when it happened.

"Come in!" She called, her eyes never trailing off the inked words that stained the paper with meaning.

The door crept open and by the smell of his thick cologne, she could tell who it was.

"Hello, Klaus." She greeted as she flipped the page of her book, anxious to see what would happen next.

She could feel him grin.

"I didn't know you liked books, love." He remarked.

She nodded, too intrigued to respond with words. He extended his hand to her, gesturing for her to take it. In a split second she noticed it which caused her to set her book face down and take it. The soft feel of his hand felt as soothing as it had been the other couple times she held it.

"Ok, ok, I'm listening," She said as she stood up along with him, rolling her eyes and adjusting her hair over her shoulders. She disconnected her hand from his. "What did you want?"

"I need to ... talk to you."

His tone sounded stern and his eyes read sincerity. Echo stopped whatever she was doing to listen; he looked like what he was about to say was very important.

"You know that I am very--extremely dangerous, right? When I'm out of control, I'll break out and focus on anger and I'll destroy everything in my way ..." He started, sorrow staring to reveal behind that shadow of blue that painted his pupils.

"Klaus ..." She mumbled uneasily, trying to pinpoint where he was taking this.

He ignored it.

"I don't want to hurt you. I'd never want to see  you get hurt, maybe even," He gulped nervously, "killed because of me."

"Klaus ... where are you going with this?" Echo questioned, staring to back away as she wondered what he'd do.

He shook his head. "I'm leaving town, Echo."

To that sentence, her heart dropped down, not just regular down, six feet underground in a pool of sorrow and shock. She tried to control the break of tears that were about to burst from her eyes; she was on the edge of crying.

        "Echo ..."

She clenched her eyes shut and turned her head to the side. The infinite tears burned her eyes from trying to keep them in for too long. She finally opened them, wet drops fluttering her eyelashes. She let out a small whimper before attempting to slap him which caused him to jerk back and brace himself for impact.
