Oh Snap"Why, hello, darling," Kol chimed as he opened the door to see the one and only Echo standing there, "How could I be of service?"
She beamed a fake smile after taking a very deep sigh. She fiddled with the sleeve of her turquoise, knit, sweater so they hid her more pale than normal hands. "Klaus here?"
"Is that really all you come over for? To see Klaus? Darling, there's a perfectly good-looking Original substitute standing in your clear view," He brushed his hand through his light brown hair, making it a bit more messy than usual, "And I can assure you, you do not want to see Klaus right now."
She felt a light tint of pink rush to her cheeks. Why was she blushing? Was it because she was a vampire now? Damon did tell her that her emotions would become stronger. She shook off the absurd thoughts and retraced her thoughts to Klaus.
"Are you suggesting something?" She questioned him, a sly grin smearing across her face as her hair wavy, light brown hair swept to one side of her face."Maybe I am." He grinned, moving a bit closer to her face.
She didn't want it to, but the blush became much worse than it was before. To pause everything that was happening at the moment that she thought would've never happened in her life time, she shoved him out of her way with all force, causing him to stumble out of the doorway so she could enter. But then ... she made that fatal mistake.
She soon realized that there was a boundary, stopping her from getting in the house. Luckily, Kol was too busy trying to readjust his now sore shoulders that he didn't notice.
"Gosh, have you gotten stronger or something?" He asked, a very shocked, yet perplexed look, on his face. She also forgot that she was now much stronger than before.
"Uh, you gonna let me in now or something?" She quizzed, thumping her long, light blue nails, that somewhat matched her sweater, on the auburn wood doorway. 'I'm literally gonna kill Damon for not reminding me that vampires must be invited into a home before they can proceed in entering.' She thought to herself as she pursed her lips, feeling her eyes decrease from a light brown to an almost black chocolate color.
"Why don't you just walk in like you always do?" He retorted back, narrowing bushy dark brown eyebrows.
Crap Kol. She thought to herself.
"Because that would be rude, wouldn't it?" She beamed another fake smile, trying to make it a bit more believable than the first time.
"That hasn't stopped you before.." He rambled on. She let out a huge sigh, knowing that Damon told her not to let anyone find out that she was a vampire. But so far, she was running out of options. Then, a big wave of relief hit her like a hurricane when she heard the call that saved her from true and utter disappointment.
"Kol! If you leave that door open for another minute, I swear, I will..." Klaus stormed by his brother's side as he screamed the complaint throughout the whole mansion. He paused once he saw Echo, her feeling that tiny shrill of fear as his icy blue eyes met hers.
There was a very awkward silence for a brief moment. It gave Echo a moment to examine Klaus' current state since she last saw him yesterday. His hands had a few scrapes on them like he'd been cut by something, but even then, they were healing by the second. His eyes were a bit red, but obviously puffy, like he'd been crying. The thought of him crying left a burning sensation in her heart, if it was because of her or not.
