Chapter 44; Admittance

Hulu's POV:

Dani clears her throat and addresses the crowd, which instantly falls silent enough to hear a pin drop. Everyone jumps slightly, some more than others, as each one of us feel her push her way into our minds. There's well over two hundred people here! Our Alpha's voice is so deep and empty it gives me chills. 'Everyone, thank you all for being present. This man is now an ex-member of my pack, his name is Fionn. He is the one responsible for the capture and torture of our Beta, and my close friend, Bree. This was no random act of cruelty, Fionn had his own agenda and motivations.'

There are a few among the crowd who break into murmurs at this, mostly within Alpha Timmothy's pack. 'Fionn has been subjected  to types forms of agony already and will be subjected to many more for his crimes. Though, out of respect for other members of my pack, and our new recruits who are members to be, I have decided that they deserved to hear of this betrayal from his own mouth.' Fionn is growing fidgety as he scans the crowd in confusion. I don't think Dani included him in the mind link announcement.

Dani's voice comes from her lips this time instead of her mind as she begins to speak out loud for Fionn to hear. "Fionn, did you or did you not subdue and abduct your Beta while your pack slept on the cave floor a few nights ago?" Dani begins to slowly circle Fionn as she starts to shake and her counterparts become visible in her eyes in a fascinating colour combination. Fionn annoyedly rolls his eyes, grumbling his response. "You already know I did, what is your point 'Alpha'" He mocks her title, making her growl as Kayla comes forward.

"And did you do this with the intention of causing him harm and suffering?" Dani stood with her hands behind her back and her feet shoulder width apart. Fionn's brows furrow in anger as he shouts in her direction, spitting as he does so. "Bree deserved everything he got for helping the delusional daughter of a man like murderous father! I only wish I had been able to be there more without raising suspicion among the group to do more of it myself!" Before Fionn even has a chance to take another breath, Dani snaps his head to the side with a powerful right hook. Blood instantly starts to pour from his nostrils. My heart is in my throat as I replay his response in my head. The daughter of his father? That would mean...oh my god..

My head snaps sharply to the side as confusion and shock take a hold of my thoughts. I lock eyes with Lexi, who shifts nervously on her feet, her eyes wide. Dani's next question brings our attention back. "In what way did you harm Bree or have him harmed second-hand?" Fionn says nothing, smirking to himself. Timmothy gut punches him so quickly I would have missed it if I hadn't been watching the scene closely. "I'll ask you again. What did you do to harm your Beta by way of your own hands or others' under your orders?!" Smiling, Fionn responds the second time.

"Oh you know just a few fun things like interrogation, beating, flaying, wolfsbane dousing, restraining, and force feeding when the idiot got brave. That of course earned him a tube forced down his throat and up his nose that were then filled with with piping hot soup, scalding and blistering his insides. We couldn't have him starving himself when we still had yet to get our questions answered now could we?!"  He chuckles hatefully before spitting at Dani's feet, which she doesn't seem to notice. She has lost her composed stance and has whipped out a small gold hilted dagger that glints as she twirls it skillfully between her fingers.

"You twisted son of a bitch, you want to spew hate and vile words about me and my pack? How about I take away your ability to say or spew anything at all." Smirking, she turns to the guards behind her. "You, get me a forceps, a clamp, a pair of pliers etc. You two, help the others hold him still and bring him to his knees." The three guards glance at their Alpha for confirmation of his permission to carry out her orders. He nods at them, and they get moving. Fionn's eye's widen in fear as soon as he gets held in place by four bulky guards and the fifth brings Dani a pair of rusted pliers.

"Hold his mouth open" she commands, as she takes the hand-tool. The guards fight a struggling Fionn as they grab his face and pry his jaw open, hard. Dani twirls the pliers and dagger in her hands before stepping in almost directly in front of Fionn. With the pliers, she reached into his mouth and grabbed his tongue. Fionn went as still as a statue as everyone else present seemed to hold their breath in anticipation. With a deep inhale, Dani puffed out her chest and blew smoke at the blade of her dagger, giving the dull blade an orange hew. Turning to Fionn's outstretched clasped tongue she began cutting through the fleshy muscle, the heated blade slicing through his tongue like butter. I can't help but flinch as his screams fill the air. Damn, that's gruesome.
