Entering the Elven checkpoint on the intersection, the complement there was still complete, a Knight with a handful of grunts and magicians. They stood at the side with their fists on top of their chests as the Dux passed them. "My Lord, he's been trying to track down my Assassins since we set off." With a smile on his face, he just rests on the driver bench as Junior gets to moving once again. "I guess he's from a pretty powerful Elven Lineage of sorts. If he's this shocked that he can't detect them. What about you, My Lord? Do you sense where they are?"
Closing his eyes, Jackson immediately felt the presence of multiple people in stealth, even the Dragon mounts in their Horse form galloping in absolute silence were picked up by his senses. Elizabeth and Alana both looked at him and noticed the Golden Aura coming out of his silhouette. "There in our flanks, five on both sides, two in the back."
"Oh, look at that color. Looks like Our Lord has reached a new potential." Alana, still in the back, climbs up some crates to reach her. "Your Majesty, do you believe if we could have a lineage with him, we'd enter the Top Three?"
She first observes him quietly and nods. "It's quite possible. The Bartley House was once Top One, even beating the Dydares Bloodline." Looking down on herself, Alana's eyes squinted as she "Hm. I do want the Minuits to enter that rankings, Your Majesty. If only... it'd make our place in the world more known..." Elizabeth smiles as she looks to her back and sees Alana prone atop a crate. "I'll help. After all this, I feel like the surviving leaders of the world will let me live, under the pretense that I do not return to commanding the Bartley House."
This made Alana tilt her head, with a squint and a lifted eyebrow. "What're you suggesting, Your Majesty?" With a smile on her, the golden blonde Vampire looks forward. "A small... insignificant alliance. I am sure the headless Bartley House needs guidance from such long stagnation. Countess, you might be a good proxy."
Rubbing her chin, the Countess had a smirk gush her face as she understood what she was implying. "... Hmmm... Very well, Your Majesty. Though... Our Lord's bloodline though... if only..." Sighing, Elizabeth nods. "I know. A Hero King's with Dragon Blood. Such Genes is as rare as a Crystal Bloodrose. But we must respect his wishes. As his loyal companions." Hearing this, Jackson just slightly nods. "I'm sure we'll figure something out. You usually come up with some devious plan, Elizabeth."
Popping from the back of the Wagon, Alana rests her elbow on the wall between the driver side and the compartment. "M'Lord, the Dydares Imperial Family usually has their strongest families by the border. I believe he is no different." he sighs. "And thus, the ones left inside the country are the weaker ones." shrugging he turns his head to the left where Bahamut was.
"Master, since you hold one of my hearts now. Why not try becoming an Immortal?" Hearing the absurd recommendation, he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow and smirk. "Hah? Are you crazy? Even in the Lorebooks, only four Humans managed to attain Immortality in Tur. I'll legit die if I try to consume an Eternal Heavenly Fire or any of the stuff that can make you Immortal."
Bahamut then opens her palm and a silvery white flame appears on it. "W-WOAH! PUT THAT AWAY!" The scream made the Dux turn his head around to see Bahamut with her hands on her back. "Geez! I know you can control all of the Flames but don't go waving a Divine Fire around here."
"Mm? M'Lord, there's a way for Men to become Immortal in Tur?"
"Yea. Multiple ways actually. One got lucky and found a fruit from the Soul Tree at the depths of a Magma Cave. Thousands of feet below the soil. Hell, I think even Bahamut got one!"
"Heh-heh. Yes indeed, Master. I swam into the Volcanic Formations of the North and attained another form of Immortality."
"Dragons have the strongest of wills and souls, unlike us Humans. We'd fall apart if we tried to even touch a Primordial Lotus Bloom. Turn to ash instantly, but an Elder Dragon? It can eat it, put it on its midnight stew and munch it like it's nothing." the roads even became more well maintained, having grubs and the fences now lined with lighting and even veins of flowers. "Dragon Souls have a lot of empty space for growth, unlike Humans which are packed and weak. When they'd eat or attain Immortality, a small part of that empty space becomes used up."
