He can't speak, he hasn't muttered a single intelligible word in years. In fact, he's stopped even trying. The strangled noises that he manages to produce during his speech therapy sessions only frustrate and embarrass him. And really, not being able to talk isn't really so bad, right? A little sign language, his phone and an amazing family make it manageable. Mostly.
Choir though, that's a different story.
