The Sacrifice

"Tighnari, I'm so glad that you were nearby." Cyno panted between his words.

"I've never seen anything like this.. I'm not sure if I can be of any help." Tighnari said as he continued trying to prepare some random medication.

"Are you sure this will work?" Collei was shocked as tears of blood were pouring out of your eyes. "All we could do is hope.." Tighnari replied as he applied something to your eyes.

Collei couldn't watch, this was all too much for her to see. Tighnari quickly wrapped some bandages around your eyes.

"The bleeding has stopped.." Cyno was amazed by Tighnaris medical skills. "This is all I could do for now. I'm afraid the bleeding will start again." Tighnari said concerned.

"H..hot.." you tried to speak but you were only able to let out a quiet whisper. "Everyone shut up for a moment Y/N is trying to say something." Collei interrupted the conversation between the two men.

"..hot.." you tried reaching out your hand to Tighnari. Despite not seeing anything, you managed to touch his arm. "She's overheating.." Tighnari felt your hot burning hand on his skin. "Quick! Get water, some Nilopata Lotuses and Rukkashavas!" Tighnari commanded.

Without any hesitation, Collei and Cyno ran opposite directions to get the ingredients. "Y/N stay strong, don't let it get to your mind." Tighnari tried to calm you down.

Navia was still crying in Lucas arms, as Wriothesley came out of the building. "Your Grace!" This was the first time that Lucas was actually glad to see him.

"Where is she.." Wriothesley felt exhausted, his body was getting weaker within seconds. "Mahamatra Cyno took her to the botanical scholar Tighnari." One of Cyno's men answered.

"Your Grace.. I think you also need medical attention." Lucas said as he noticed Wriothesley wound on his side. "It's just a minor cut." Wriothesley shrugged it off.

Navia wiped the tears away with her hands as she noticed Wriothesley's presence. "Where are those psychos?" She asked as she glanced back at the entrance to the lab. "They're still inside.. but pretty roughed up." Wriothesley answered her question but not with the full truth.

It's best not to mention how the other guy just turned into black goo. Suddenly out of nowhere the general mahamatra himself appeared.

"General! Aren't you supposed to be with Tighnari?" One of his men was confused by his sudden appearance. "I need to pass some information regarding miss Y/N" Cyno explained as he walked closer to the fontainians.

"I also need to share something myself." Wriothesley couldn't get that doctor's words out of his mind.

"Please.. you go first." Cyno requested making Wriothesley nod. "I've found out that the doctor has used Y/Ns child as his very own... test subject.." Wriothesley struggled to let out those last 2 words.

Navia's eyes widen as she heard his words "you mean.." Wriothesley knew what she was about to say. He nodded before she could even finish her sentence. "There's no use for her to come back to Fontaine if her child has passed.." Lucas had a quick thought about it. "She has no reason to search in Fontaine anymore."

Navia nodded at his words with a bit of tears swelling in her eyes "She can technically go home if she wanted to."

"Regarding Y/N, I'm afraid she has to stay in Sumeru for awhile. We've never seen that kind of illness before so it's best to leave it to us." Cyno informed.

Wriothesley nearly forgot to mention something important regarding your health "talking about her illness. I found out that she will suffer unbearable pain that can lead to dangerous consequences."
