"This must be that shady guy's doing." Navia spoke to Lucas about her suspicions. "He did confront you about some address she has to go to." Lucas filled the kettle with water to make some tea.
"It just annoys me that he didn't tell me!" Navia complained as she munched on her handmade macarons. "I assume he did it on purpose... I have the feeling he knew you wanted to look for her." Lucas said as he put some tea bags in the tea pot.
"It's a good thing that I know how he looks, or else we'll never find him." Navia said as she tried to memorize everything about him.
sleek hair, sly grin, fancy suit... those were his most recognizable features.
"Our only lead we have is that suspicious guy, but we don't know where he is either.." Lucas said as he took a sip of his now finished tea.
"It's been two days now since her disappearance..." Navia said with a sigh. "This just confirms that she's really missing." Navia felt how tears started to swell in her eyes.
"Demoiselle... we'll find her soon. We just have to believe in ourselves." Lucas tried to cheer Navia up.
"Lucas.. I've been trying to think where that guy could've run off to... but I can't think of anything! not even my macarons are helping me." Navia stuffed another macaron in her mouth in distress.
...
"Your grace... there aren't any traces of her in this area either." Wriothesley furrowed his eyebrows as he heard his words. It was quite late at night, as they were searching.
"Then let's continue north." He commanded the guard. The guard saluted him and signaled the other guards to go north.
He knew, if Navia doesn't tell him all the information.. might as well find it somewhere else himself.
"Are you looking for something?" A man approached Wriothesley. He seemed strange.. there was something about him that gave an eerie vibe. He had a mischievous smile on his face.
Wriothesley eyed him up and down.. "I'm sorry for being a bit curious.. there are just so many guards here.. I was just wondering what his grace was up to." The man spoke as he lit a cigarette in his hand.
It didn't take long for Wriothesley to realize who he was. "Where is she." Wriothesley clenched his fists. His nails were already digging into his palm.
"Wow.. didn't take so long for you to catch on.." he chuckled at his own words. Wriothesley felt how his own blood was pouring out of his hand.
"I'm afraid you're too late, to find her will be more puzzling from here on out." He took a deep breath from his cigarette. Before he knew it, Wriothesley grabbed him by the collar, making him drop his cigarette on the floor.
"I don't like repeating myself.. Where. Is. She." Wriothesley threatened him. "Woah, woah, woah.. calm down your grace.. we don't wanna make things even more complicated do we?" the man raised his hands at him.
Wriothesley was so close to punching the hell out of him.
"She's long gone.. I bet she's not even in Fontaine anymore.." he assumed. Wriothesley knew that his blood pressure was rising the more he talked with this guy.
"I don't need any half-assed assumptions. Now tell me.. Where is she, if you still want your head." By the sound of his voice he could tell that he was about to die in his hands.
"I'm not worth killing, trust me.. no more sacrifices have to be done." At this point Wriothesley has no idea what he was talking about. He had enough of his bullshit. "Oh trust me.. the more you keep talking crap, the more I want to crush your head." Wriothesley fumed as he slammed him against a nearby wall.
