"no no no" Kate started screaming next to me, jumping up. Josh put the brakes on, making me hit my head on the edge the edge of the truck. I looked up to see him stood next to me.
"wheres beth?" he asked, and then i realised that i hadnt seen her since we found Ethen.
"i dont know" i admitted, i cant believe that i hadnt been able to keep track of my own sister.
"right, " he said "whats wrong with Kate?" she was now in the front cab , fanticly searching.
" again, i dont know, but shes gonna scare Abigail" i replied, turning to see if the seven year old had woken up yet. and then i realised why kate was screaming.
where abigail should have been was a note.

We are fine, i promise. abigail is safe, but she couldnt stay there with you lot, you are all so irrasponsible. so dangerous. im taking her somewhere safe, somewhere she wont be hurt by you.

I looked up from the letter, josh just stared at me in disbelief. i turned around, to look for kate, she was crumpled in a heap on the ground, something clutched in her hand. josh walked over to her, and pulled the thing out of her hand. he held it up for me to see, it was a stuffed bunny, with the name abigail stitched on its side.
