End of the road

C:32 Lukes POV

"beth let me past"  kate shouted,  trying to push past them,  only to be pushed back onto the floor.Jade shuffled from underneath my arm,  reaching slowly for her gun,  which lay next to Josh.

"I'll leave you to deal with this" Morgan said,  patting beth on the shoulder and walking out, closing the door behind him.

"let me past. "kate shouted again,  launching herself at beth,  only for her to hit her in the face with her gun,  knocking her to the ground.   Beth stepped forwards,  pulling out her gun.  But instead of pointing it at kate,  she pointed it at abigail.

" get up "she demanded,  walking closer to her.  abigail slowly got up,  went to reach for her gun,  but realised that Luke had it still.

" you were  kill them! " she shouted at abigail,  grabbing  her by the collar." you were meant to get information from kate"

" but you were meant to leave Josh alive! " she screamed,  throwing abigail back onto the floor. 

Suddenly,  jade sprang up,  drawing her gun on beth and pushing abigail behind her.  I sprang at beth,  snatching her gun away.

" she is a child! " jade shouted at her,  stepping closer,  her hand shaking. 

" she messed up" beth replied stepping backwards

"you messed her up! " jade screamed," this camp messed her up. "

" because she was so safe with you! " beth screamed back

" at least she didn't have to kill people! " jade retorted" were leaving"

"I can't let you do that sis" beth said,  looking sad.

"why not? " she said.

" I need kate " beth said

" she's with me. "

" of course she is,  she your freaking puppy"

"screw you"

"shouldn't you be saving that for luke" beth asked smirking,  jade blushed,. "if I can't keep kate,  then I'm keeping abigail,  consider it a trade."

"so you can send her after us again,  poison her,  kill her?! " jade screamed, " no chance,  she is one of us"

I walked over to Kate,  who was sat on the floor looking rather dazed.  I handed her a gun. She just stared at me.  Eyes tear filled,  I hugged her as tight as I could. Then whispered in her ear "get ready to run"  she nodded. I pulled away,  making my way over to abigail who stood behind jade. 

"I'm sorry luke" she cried "I'm sorry about Ben I'm sorry about josh I'm sorry"

"sweetie" I whispered,  pulling her in for a hug.  "get ready to run OK."

She nodded.  I smiled and ruffled her hair.

I nodded at jade.

Giving her the go ahead.

She placed her finger on the trigger

Aimed it at her little sister

"I'm sorry beth" she said

Then she pulled the trigger.
