End of the road

C:29 Lukes POV

"Luke, you coming?" Austin shouted from the car. I was going on a run for more supplies. Josh was meant to be coming with us, but he was out looking for Jade, who was off looking for Kate. It was weird, since I'd joined that group, I had never seen kate leave Jade's side. Not for long anyway.Kate didn't like being alone and Jade didn't like leaving her. We were all used to it being like that. So it surprised everyone that Kate had gone somewhere without Jade.

"Luke! Wait! " I heard Jade scream as I climbed into the car. I jumped back out again. " sorry Austin, take, Daniel instead" he laughed and made with whipping noise. I stuck my finger up at him, then ran off to meet Jade.

"what's wrong? " I asked, seeing the panic look on her face.

" we gotta find Kate now! " she said, struggling to catch her breath. I gave her a confused look. She continued to explain her conversation with bella as we ran off back into the town.

" you think they had other reasons for bringing us here? " I asked as we knocked on Morgan office door. No answer.

" sure looks like it. I've asked Abigail's friends and they haven't seen her all day. "

"abigail has friends?" i said shocked and laughing

"not the time luke" jade said shaking her head.

" sorry sorry. and Beth said she was with Kate "

" exactly. "

" for God sake" I shouted, banging on the door, "answer the door Morgan."

"move" Jade said, pushing me out of the way. She kicked the door open, breaking the glass in it in the process.

"or we could do that" i muttered

"honey I'm home! "I called as we walked in, Jade laughed before kicking me to shut me up.

" what? "I asked, she just shook her head and started searching the office. A glint of a smile on her face.

" Jade? " I asked, after about 5 minutes of searching. She turned to look at me.

" what are we looking for? " she chuckled to herself.

" anything that might lead us to Kate, like her coat, shoes, glasses.. "

" or cctv on a room where they have her captive? " i asked, pointing to the TV screen in the corner. Jade ran towards it, trying to listen to what they were saying. But it was no use.

" I know where that is. " a voice piped up from behind me, it was Josh.

" what are we waiting for let's go!? " Jade shouted. Picking up two guns off the table and pocketing them.

We were gonna find Kate.
