"step on it Luke!" Josh shouted, banging on the window. We were moving out again, but something wasn't right. I looked next to me, where Amelia was sat, she looked worried, behind us, Josh climbed into the back seat. I put my foot down on the gas, knowing that neither of our leaders wanted to stay here. I kept my eyes on the road but behind me I could here Ben laughing. He was sat in the open boot thingy, with Jade and Kate. I hadn't heard him laugh since, well since everything started. Ben had seen our parents be killed, he had seen our friends turn into monsters, but he kept going. I don't know how, but he kept going. Then we met these guys, well, Josh to be correct. He found me and Ben, when we were alone and hungry and they took us in. I got along with him and Amelia instantly, Ben got along with Jade quite well. This was our family now.
A gunshot snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Amelia take the wheel, " I shouted, climbing out of the window, and onto the top of the car. I jumped into the back, pushing Ben behind me,
