The commotion caused by Trisha's shouts brought everyone downstairs. As Alok turned on the lights, Trisha rushed to hug Mahak and everyone exclaimed, "Neel, what brings you here so late?"
Suresh asked, "Why are you here at this hour?"
Neel soon realized it was all a setup. Gauri, standing behind Harsh, shook her head discreetly. Neel caught her eye and said, "I came to surprise and congratulate Raaj and Simran for their wedding. I had no idea..."
Neel gestured towards Trisha and quipped, "I guess this little munchkin thinks I'm a thief from which angle."
Raaj chimed in, "From a right angle, you're looking like a thief."
Neel brushed off Raaj's hand from his shoulder and said, "Hold on, I'll show you."
As the night wore on, everyone retired to their rooms. Neel's gaze met Rudra's and mahak who slipped into their room.
Trisha approached Neel, her voice sweet and apologetic: "I'm sorry, I thought you were a thief in the dark."
Neel chuckled, placing a hand on her head: "It's okay, my fault for not turning on the lights."
Later, Neel confronted Gauri, his voice low: "That was a terrible idea. You have no idea how worried I was."
Gauri grasped his hand, her eyes pleading: "Please don't go. What's done is done. Forgive bhai . We need your help to bring them together."
Neel nodded, and the tension dissipated. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as Neel and Gauri shared a warm hug.
The morning sun cast its golden glow as everyone buzzed around, prepping for the evening's Puja celebrations. At the breakfast table, Preeti, Simran, Shanya, Gauri, Mahak, and Trisha were lost in a heated discussion about their shopping plans.
Sudha chimed in, "Finish your breakfast, girls! Then you can hit the shops, but don't dawdle. We need you back home pronto."
The girls chorused a "thank you" as Rudra lounged on the couch, his gaze fixated on Mahak from afar. A soft smile spread across his face as he watched her radiant joy.
Just then, a bodyguard approached Rudra, holding out a box. "Sir, this is for you." Shivansh, seated beside Rudra, took the box and asked, "Who sent it?"
The bodyguard replied, "No idea, sir. It was at the gate with Saheb's name on it. We've scanned it – it's safe."
Shivansh opened the box, revealing a card and a small doll adorned in a lehenga, its face painted red. As Shivansh read the card, his expression turned grave.
Rudra snatched the card from Shivansh's hands and read it, his eyes narrowing as the words seared into his mind.
The card read : I heard the king’s life revolves around his queen. Too bad— she’s too pretty to be left unguarded. Don’t bother introducing us… I’ll find her myself. And when I do, let’s just say the king won’t have much of a kingdom left."
Rudra's eyes blazed with fury as he clutched the card, his knuckles white. He strode towards his study, room Shivansh following closely behind.
Rudra slammed his hand on the desk, frustration etched across his face. "I know exactly whose handiwork this is, but how did they find out about babydoll" ?
