The Singh mansion was filled with laughter that morning. Everyone was happy—because Mahak was finally back to her usual self. No insecurities about Rudra, no silent tears, no doubts. She had even gone to the temple earlier with simran and when she returned, she saw the living room buzzing with chatter.

Sudha, Suresh, Alok, Rajni, Harsh, Shanya, Neel raj, Shivansh, even Vani were all there. Only Rudra sat apart, buried in his work in his study room  The rest of them seemed too caught up in some unspoken joy.

Handing out prasad to everyone, Mahak smiled curiously.
“What’s going on? Everyone looks so happy. At least tell me the secret behind these smiles.”

Rajni grinned. “Arrey, we’re all celebrating because wedding bells are about to ring again in this house.”

Mahak blinked. “What do you mean?”

Harsh chuckled. “It means Shivansh and Vaani are getting married next week.”

“What?” Mahak’s eyes widened in disbelief.
“But… how is that even possible?”

“Why not?” Raaj asked, raising a brow.

Mahak shook her head. “I mean—so soon? How will all the preparations happen? And they should at least get some time for themselves before rushing into this.”

Sudha laughed. “Shivansh just can’t stay away from his Vaani anymore. And when the bride and groom are ready, what can the priest do?”

Everyone burst into laughter. Mahak smiled faintly but excused herself. “I’ll just go give Rudra his prasad.”

She walked to his study where he was lost in files. Handing him the offering, she said softly, “Did you hear? Shivansh bhaiya announced his wedding today.

Rudra looked up, calm as ever. “Yes, I heard.”

Mahak frowned. “And you didn’t say anything?”

Rudra shrugged. “What is there to say?”

Before Mahak could respond, Neel walked in. “Rudra, I need to talk to you.”

Mahak quickly excused herself. “I’ll leave… so much work to do.” And she left.

As she walked back, Mahak noticed Shivansh’s room door slightly ajar. She hesitated, then knocked.

“Come in,” his voice came.

Mahak stepped inside. “ Mahak is saheb calling me ? Shivansh asked

“No,” she said, sitting down. “Actually, I needed to talk to you, bhaiya.”

Shivansh looked up, curious.

“Why are you doing this?” Mahak’s voice trembled. “I know this isn’t from your heart. Why are you hurting yourself—and Gauri di—like this? Please, just give her a chance. She really loves you. And I know somewhere deep down… you care for her too. Whatever misunderstanding happened, clear it. Please.”
