Neel's phone buzzed, and he stepped aside to take the call.
Gauri slowly walked toward Shivansh.
He was typing something on his phone, but the moment he saw her, he slipped it back into his pocket.

"Hi," he said casually.

Gauri was a bundle of nerves. Her palms were sweaty, her heart racing.
Still, she gathered every ounce of courage she had and reached for his hand.

“I need to talk to you,” she whispered. “Please… meet me in the backyard.”

She turned to leave, but his voice stopped her cold.

“Gauri… actually, I need to make an announcement first. It’s important. We’ll talk later, okay?”

Without waiting for a response, Shivansh walked right to the center of the hall.
Mahak, standing at a distance, had her eyes fixed on them—on gauri and shivansh

Shivansh took the mic from the organizer and spoke, “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I hope I’m not interrupting anything, but I want to introduce someone very special. So please… turn to the entrance.”

Everyone turned.
Gauri stood frozen. Mahak came closer and asked softly, “Did you talk to Shivansh bhaiya?”

“No, bhabhs… he said we’ll talk later,” Gauri replied, trying to steady her voice.

Just then, a woman entered.
Clad in a deep maroon bodycon dress, she was about 25, short hair, heavy makeup, around 5’6” even without those killer heels that clicked dramatically against the floor.
The room dimmed as she walked in, making her face hard to see.

Neel had returned by now, standing near Shivansh.
As the woman came closer, the spotlight hit her—and the room collectively gasped.

“Vaani?” Neel, Harsh, Preeti, Vikram—all said in unison.

“Yes,” Shivansh said with a smile.

Vaani walked straight up to him, kissed his cheek like she owned the moment, wrapped her arms around his waist, and stood beside him like she belonged.

Simran and Shanya leaned toward Raj and Harsh, whispering sharply,
“Who the hell is she? And why is she so close to Shivansh? I mean, he barely even talks to girls!”

Raaj and Harsh exchanged looks and whispered back, “Vaani… She was his classmate in college. Had a massive crush on him. Literally obsessed. She proposed to him so many times… but how is she even here?”

Meanwhile, Rudra stood silently in the shadows, expression unreadable, as he watched everything unfold.
He didn’t care what Shivansh was doing, didn’t react at all.
But Gauri… Gauri couldn’t look away.
She stared at Shivansh like her heart was being ripped in slow motion.

Something in her shattered when she saw Vaani clinging to him. Her eyes brimmed with tears.

Shivansh took the mic again, his voice firm and sweet
“Everyone, meet Vaani. Most of you know her already. She was my batchmate in college. And now—she’s my girlfriend. Yes, the same Vaani you know as Miss Secret.”

The moment those words left his mouth, Gauri’s world crumbled.

Her knees buckled. She staggered—almost fell—
But Mahak caught her just in time.
