This is a small gift from my side to all of you—because it's my birthday month! 🥳
My birthday is on the 28th, and I wanted to make it special by sharing this chapter  💝

But honestly guys, I’ve been struggling a bit with motivation lately.
I don’t even have a laptop, and the phone I used to write on got stolen.
Right now, I’m writing chapters using a temporary phone—just for you all.

So the least you can do is support me a little 🥺
I’m also trying to save up for a new phone.

Please show your support on Stck.me and Instagram—it truly means the world to me. ❤️

After talking to Neel, Shivansh slipped out quietly, his footsteps fading into the silence of the night. He headed toward the edge of the property, deep into a dense, dark forest. The trees stood tall and shadowed, the path lit only by moonlight. There, he met a man—a stranger cloaked in silence—and explained everything he needed to do. Every step. Every detail. Every consequence.

As Shivansh returned, his eyes caught something unusual—Gauri’s door slightly open, and just as he turned to look, he saw her walking out. Instinctively, he stepped inside the room.

What he saw stopped him.

Gauri sat on the bed, her eyes swollen with tears. Next to her sat Neel, comforting her, arms around her as she cried into his shoulder. He ran his fingers gently through her hair, voice soft and full of concern.

“No, Gauri, don’t cry… everything will be okay. I promise,” Neel murmured.
“I won’t let Rudra and Mahak fall apart. And you… please take care of yourself. Come with me to the doctor tomorrow, okay? Something’s wrong. You haven’t been yourself lately. You’re distant. Quiet. You barely attend the functions. Please, talk to me.”

His words were full of care—genuine, deep care.

Shivansh stood silently, his gaze fixed on them for a moment… and then he turned, walking back to his room without a word.

Morning arrived with the buzz of Sangeet preparations. The house was filled with music, lights, the scent of flowers, and yet… the mood was heavy. Everyone moved with a kind of forced joy. The guests had started to arrive, but Rudra was nowhere in sight. His room remained locked since morning.

Mahak noticed it right away.
And this time, people weren’t just cold because Rudra was missing—they were cold to her. Their eyes, their silence… it said everything.

Because what Mahak had done was reckless. She had risked her life—just to uncover one truth. A truth that might’ve cost two lives, not just one.

Even as the Sangeet ceremony started in the evening, Rudra didn’t show up. No one had seen him since morning. Not a word. Not a glimpse.

And Mahak’s heart… it sank deeper.

She was supposed to leave for London with Trisha. Her brain had already made the decision—her ticket was booked. But her heart… her heart still waited for one last glance.

Trisha, on the other hand, didn’t want to leave. She had grown attached—too attached—to this house, to these people, to this family. Something she had never truly had.

The wedding day arrived. The house was dressed in celebration, every corner lit with lamps and marigolds. Everyone had gathered, dressed in vibrant colors. And Mahak—she looked like a dream, but her eyes… they searched for only one person.

He’ll come today. Just once before I leave. He will come.

But he didn’t.

Rudra didn’t show up.
