Rudra  knew very well that Gauri was saying all that only because she knew that he was with Mahak and he  was listening.
And the moment Gauri cut the call, Rudra left the room without saying a word—leaving Mahak standing there, alone.

Mahak waited for him for a while… but when he didn’t return, she quietly left with the driver.
Suresh had already gone home, and the entire drive back was blurry through her tears.

She kept thinking,
“Maybe I shouldn’t have come here… maybe Rudra really doesn’t want to see my face. I shouldn’t hurt him more.
May be I deserve this ."

Lost in these thoughts, she reached home.

The next morning…

Just like Gauri had said… Rudra was there.
But Neil—he was nowhere to be found. No one had any clue where he was.

Everyone had eaten breakfast and gathered in the living hall, waiting for Gauri.

Gauri walked in slowly, stood in the center, joined her hands and said:

“I’m really ashamed of what I did. I shouldn’t have done any of it.
I have hurt all of you deeply.
And I’m not trying to justify myself, but why are you all  taking out your anger on all the bhabhs.

Mahak  stepped forward and said, “Gauri di please… stop it.”

But Gauri raised her hand, refusing to stop.

“No.
Today I will speak. And every single member of this family will listen.”

She looked at Alok and Rajni and said,

“Yes, fine—I loved Shivansh.
So what crime did I commit?
Just because dad thinks he isn’t of our ‘standard’?
Just because he never considered him part of this family?”

Raj interrupted angrily,
“If you considered me your real brother, you would’ve never hidden this from me.”

Sudha scolded him,
“Raj! What are you saying?”

But Gauri continued,

“If I didn’t consider you my real brother… then you didn’t either.
You didn’t come to see me even once at the hospital.
None of you understood what I was feeling.
You were all just happy that I was marrying Neil.
Because without speaking, you all knew he loved me.
But none of you understood my feelings.”

“I loved Neil? No.
I loved Shivansh.
And if anyone ever understood that, it was bhabhs
And I made her swear she wouldn’t tell anyone.
She wanted to tell you first of all, to bhai  but I stopped her.”

“What was I supposed to tell you—that I love Shivansh deeply…
and that I am his Miss Secret
while he loves Vaani, not me?”

The moment she said Miss Secret, everyone’s eyes widened.

She continued,

“I agreed to marry Neil out of anger… to make Shivansh jealous.
Maybe he would finally understand his own feelings because I really think that he loves me but i was wrong whole time he never loves me her eyes gathered tears saying this
But the mistake was mine.
By the time I realized it… it was too late.
Too late—the wedding day had arrived.”

“And then I understood…
I was about to ruin Neil’s life.
Because I could never remove Shivansh from my heart.
And Neil doesn’t deserve this.
He deserves someone who can love him back.”
