Let's dive into story...

Ever since the news of Neel and Gauri’s wedding spread in the family, everyone had gotten busy with the preparations. Designers and decorators had also arrived. The whole house was filled with happiness. Everyone was busy with their own work—only Rudra was in his study room.

Just then, Shivansh came and started heading toward Rudra’s study room. But Gauri stopped him by stretching out her hand in front of him. Shivansh looked around and then, in a low voice, asked Gauri, “What do you want?”

Gauri replied, “Nothing now.” Then she clapped her hands, and the maid brought a box of sweets. Gauri took out a piece of sweet and, looking at Shivansh, said, “It’s a very happy occasion for you. My marriage has been fixed with Neel. So what if I’m not marrying you, at least we can get married under the same mandap.”

Shivansh said to Gauri, “Are you done? ThenI’ll leave.”

Gauri moved aside, letting him pass. Shivansh left, but as soon as he reached outside Rudra’s study room, he threw the sweet into the dustbin and went inside to get back to work with Rudra.

A little while later, Rudra came downstairs, ready to leave for the office. As he reached the gate, he turned back and saw Mahak sitting on the couch with Gauri, talking about something. Rudra turned and walked toward Mahak. Reaching her he kissed her cheek from behind and said, “Sometimes take a look at your husband too.”

Hearing Rudra’s words, Mahak blushed. She stood up, walked closer to Rudra, and whispered, “What are you doing? Everyone’s here. At least have some shame.

Rudra, in a serious tone, replied, “I only kissed you in front of them. If it were love, I’d do it in private.” Then he winked at Mahak and walked away. Everyone burst out laughing, while Mahak’s cheeks turnedGauri teased Maahk
“Bhai, have changed so much since you  came. Now he even know what love means. And he have learned to understand everyone’s feelings too.”
Mahak just smiled

Rudra and Shivansh left for the office. For the first time, Shivansh was completely silent throughout the ride. Rudra found it a little odd.

After reaching the office, Rudra got busy with his work, and Shivansh tried to concentrate on his, but his mind kept wandering. His eyes repeatedly went toward Rudra’s cabin. Finally, when he saw Rudra was done with his meetings and sitting alone, Shivansh got up and knocked on the door.Shivansh stood outside Rudra’s cabin, his palms damp, his throat dry. For the first time in his life, the man who never feared bullets was scared of words. He knocked softly.

“Coming,” Rudra’s deep voice came from inside.

When Shivansh entered, Rudra didn’t even look up. He was busy signing files, his pen gliding over paper with cold precision.

Shivansh stood frozen, watching him. Minutes felt like hours. Sweat trickled down his temple, his chest tightened. He wanted to speak, but his voice betrayed him.

Finally, with a long, shaky breath, he whispered, “Saheb…”

“Hmm,” Rudra replied, eyes still fixed on the documents.

Shivansh clenched his fists. His heart screamed, but his lips trembled as he said
Vaani… she has a job in Australia. After marriage… I’ll also go with her. I’ve already arranged the visa. There… I’ll start some business.”

Every word cut his throat raw.

For the first time, Rudra raised his eyes. His gaze was sharp, unreadable. He pushed the files towards Shivansh.

“recheck this file he said flatly.

Shivansh’s chest caved in. But Rudra’s silence was heavier than a thousand words. Without replying, Shivansh picked up the files and walked out, each step heavier than the last.
