Tensions were thick and the air around the room was hot as models ran back and forth frantically. Hair all over the places and pieces of clothing still lingering behind them. Yazmin looked up from her iPAD and chuckled as the tall woman in a flowy pants suit set. Her hands moved around frantically.

"You guys need to be on in five minutes. I need everyone with their clothes on and in their positions or you're not walking! You ruin this night, I'll ruin you!"

Yazmin chuckled and shook her head.

It was so like her mother to threaten someone during stressful times and truly mean it.

Sophia snapped her head over to her daughter and raised her eyebrows. Slowly, she walked over to her and took a peek at her notebook.

"What is so funny?"

"You," Yazmin chuckled. "You do this all the time and the shows go well. You're running around with your head cut off for no reason."

"You know I like for everything to be perfect. That girl was walking around with her outfit barely on her body." Sophia shook her head, "I don't have time for this."

Yazmin chuckled at her mothers antics and looked back down at her notebook.

"What do you have here?"

"I'm just taking notes of everything for my blog and for work."

During her spare time, Yazmin created blogs on a page that she created where she talks about not only fashion but travelling. Her creativity and different niches were limited to express when she started working as an assistant editor at Taboo, so she decided to take part in being a freelance journalist and create her own blogs. She was surprised that she'd even made it to the title of an assistant editor, but her credentials, work ethic and drive got her there. Mackenzie Lawerence didn't care who her parents were and wasn't going to let their name get her into the spot that so many other young adults were gunning for. Yazmin had to work and prove herself even when she wasn't working at Taboo in New York.

It'd been a bit over a year since she was out of school and working. It was expected of her to go back to Europe when she finished because she loved being there, but she decided to renew her lease at her current apartment there. She loved the ambiance of New York and how fast paced it was. But when things got overwhelming, she was always welcomed back to Paris. She even kept her place that she had in Paris.

Although her entire life was now in America, oftentimes she found herself in Europe. She had a deep love for France, Italy, UK, Portugal and many other countries in Europe. She constantly travelled around the continent for many years. Sometimes she travelled by herself and other times with her friends. Her mother would also tag along whenever she was able to, which gave them the opportunity to strengthen their relationship. It was still a work in progress- things weren't going to be perfect after years of neglect, but they grew a deep connection.
