"No f*cking way!" I scream furiously.
Raze flips me over with a worried gaze. "What's wrong, sweet?"
"I don't want a mate," I hiss, pushing him off. "I don't!"
"Do you really think I can leave you alone after this?"
My wolf purrs, and I growl at her.
"I don't want a mate," I repeat in a whisper. He grabs my wrists and forces me to look in his eyes. "Now you have one."
"But-"
He cuts me off as he presses his lips to my mouth. I'm shocked.
Sparks.
Sh*t!
I don't want a mate, I chant.
Mustering up my self-control and pushing away my wolf, I get up, knocking my mate down. "I win this round," I growl, stalking away. I shout over my shoulder, "And next is my turn!"
"You can run," I hear him whisper, "But I'll always try and catch you."
