Still in the middle of cleaning, the door bell suddenly rang. Jo answered it since I had to give the guys a hand on putting the new curtains because the windows of an ancestral homes are tall.

We took a break after one window out of six. I had to stretch my back after a long cleaning of floor tiles.

Linus made us iced coffees from the break room which was also the kitchen. There was a small espresso machine that we bought last year. Funny story about it because we had to fill up a big jar of coins to save up and get it.

So while waiting for Linus to make our drink, Roy just sat down to watch a vlog. As for me, I decided to check on Jo.

I went to the main entrance. Apparently, there was a delivery for her. She was pushing a three feet tall rectangular box inside. "What's that?" I asked.

"Oh, it's my cousin's," she answered. "I mean, it's for my cousin."

"Why is it here?"

"It's a wedding dress. She wanted to take a photoshoot wearing it. It's here is so that the groom, who is living with her, won't see it."

"Ah, got it."

"Anyway, I need to put it in a safe place. I would put it in my house, if I didn't have a nephew with chocolate all over his hands."

"We can put it in the wardrobe," I suggested.

Jo nodded, "Okay, can you help me?"

"Sure."

We got to the room where the photoshoot would be done, and I helped her open the over sealed package. I guess you can never be too careful with a wedding dress.

We had to tear layers of bubble wrap with our strongest scissors we had and our hands. I wasn't sure about her hands, but my hands were sore from all the brushing.

"My hands are killing me," I expressed.

"Same." Jo massaged her palms.

Until, we got to the very semi-exciting part. It was the enchanting preservation box. The container was a white floral embossed hard board box.

Next came the fully exciting part. The opening of the box and finally see the wedding dress.

Oh, man! I looked at it in utter amazement. It felt like Christmas, and we were opening presents.

The gown was gooorrrrrgeous.

An empress style, square neckline with pink embroidery around the strap and at the back, then down the floor-length skirt. Moreover, it was vintage.

I took a glance of the tag after taking it out from the garment plastic bag. I was like, "My. Oh, my Gahd! Ann Lowe! This is an Ann Lowe!?" I freaked. "Are you fucking kidding me?"

Jo looked at me clueless as to what I was talking about. She was amazed just like I did, but she was just amazed by how it looks and the idea that it was vintage. "What? Who?"

"Ann Lowe? It's an Ann Lowe"

"Right now, I'm waiting for you to explain who that is."

"Did you fall asleep in Fashion History class?" I grunted, and have her my crazy eyes. "She was a fashion designer in the fifties, who designed the wedding gown for Jackie Kennedy for her wedding with John F. Kennedy."

From throwing my fashion nerd bomb at her, Jo's mind was blown. "Jackie Kennedy. The Jackie Kennedy?" she gasped.

"Yesszz."

"Holy Shit."

"You have no idea that your cousin have a wedding dress made by a legend?" I questioned.
