So, Jake, Roy, and Linus carried my unconscious brother to the bedroom, where we used it for the bride's photoshoot, since it had been over an hour ago, because it was the only room that had a clean sheet.

Moreover, I kinda had to brief Fallon and Jake about the look-alike and who he was, and what was going on, like the part that he had no idea about him looking so much like Topher. Also, I had to introduce them to one another.

As for Emmy, who was in charge of making sure that Roy was out of sight, she felt just as dismayed that she failed and embarrassed after assuring me that he was not going to be seen. She kept apologizing by whispering to me. I kept telling her that it was okay.

So, while Alden was lying there out cold for maybe not so long, the rest of us had to listen to Roy as he explained to us what happened. "I kinda bumped into him as he got out of the bathroom, then he looked at me for a second, and it was like, he saw a ghost. After that, he screamed, then fainted just like that."

"Maybe he did see a ghost," Jo mumbled, so I had to elbow her arm to stop talking.

"Oh, okay..." Fallon stammered. I could tell she was just as weirded out and observing him from top to bottom while sitting on the bedside and having Ada napping in her arms.

"I'm sorry, I'm not sure why he..."

"No, it's fine. I believe you."

"He's gonna be fine," I told him.

"You know, funny thing was the door in the library was locked," Roy mentioned, and he seemed puzzled as to how that could happen. "I tried to call for help, but I guess no one could hear me."

"Really? I'm so sorry that happened to you." Emmy acted oblivious about it. "The door must've jammed. It could happen."

I let out a light sigh and shook my head at her subtlety. "Definitely."

"Good thing you got out. Ahem... How'd you manage to get out anyway?"

Roy grinned proudly. "I know how to unlock myself using a Swiss Army knife that I got as a birthday present from my dad's friend, who is a locksmith."

"Oh... That's such a convenient skill to have in that inconvenient situation," I remarked. Sarcastically. "You are so lucky. Too lucky, I may add."

"Yeah, good thing you were able to do that," Jake interjected. He, too, played along with my deception, if you want to call it that. "By the way, I'm Jake."

"Roy."

They shook hands. Honestly, I had mixed feelings about them being... acquainted with each other. Perhaps it was better that way instead of them not getting along.

"Did you just say that you have a Swiss army knife?" Jake asked.

Roy nodded. "Yup."

"What kind?"

"RangerGrip 179."

"Cool, I got RangerGrip 58," Jake said. "Can I see it?"

"Sure." Suddenly, Roy picked his pocket in his jacket. "Humph... I swore I put it in my pocket after getting out of the library. I must've dropped it on the way. I'd better find it."

"Okiee," I chimed as he got out of the room.

Once, he was out of earshot. Fallon turned to me. "He seems nice. I like him."

"Sure, you do." In my mind, I was like, 'this is so not happening', and also wishing for a comet to just crash at any moment. Part of me had to see this coming, but I didn't.
