7. Such a gentleman

Kendall's POV

I walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind me and stripped out of my clothes.

I stepped into the shower and luckily there were razors, shower gels, shampoo and conditioner.

I turned the shower on and stepped under the hot water, just the way I like it.

I spent a lot of time in the shower because I felt so filthy. I washed myself with vanilla body wash and washed my hair with mango shampoo and conditioner. I shaved my legs and was ready to hop out.

Oh crap, I forgot about Gracie!

I hopped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around me.

'Gracie?' I asked.

'How the hell could you disconnect me from you! I am half of you! Without me you will not be able to live Kendall! How could you be so silly' Gracie yelled at me.

'Im so sorry Gracie, I just, it's so hard. I have to leave Declan, I can't stay here and I knew you would get angry'

'Of course I would get angry Kendall! He is our mate and he isn't going to hurt us'

I huffed and dried myself off. I put on the clothes that Declan gave me and did my hair. I put on some mascara that I found in one of the draws and brushed my teeth. I walked out of the bathroom and ran into Declan who was waiting at the door for me.

"Can we talk Kendall?"

I nodded my head and we headed to his office.

There was a couch in the office so I sat down on that and Declan sat next to me while grabbing my hands in his.

"Kendall I need you to listen to me closely and don't freak out"

I nodded my head. I was actually scared on what he was going to tell me.

"Alpha Harry of the Blood Moon Pack died when the rogues attacked. Jake has moved up and taken his alpha position. He called all the alphas last night asking if they have seen his "mate". He is coming here for a battle to win you back"

"NO!" I screamed. I started crying hysterically and buried my head in Declan's chest. "Declan please don't let him take me away" I sobbed.

"I won't princess, I won't even let him touch you. A day before he comes I'm gonna get one of the neighbouring packs Alpha to come and get you and take you to his land. You will be safe there"

"No Declan don't do that, I want to stay here, please don't let anyone take me, I just wanna stay here, with you"

"Lets talk about it later Kendall"

Even though I didn't want to stay here, I didn't want some random alpha coming and taking me away for a few days while Declan was in battle. For all I know he could be just like Jake.

"Lets go down for some breakfast, I think mum is making bacon and eggs"

"Declan, I don't like bacon and eggs"

I looked at him and he had his mouth opened in shock.

"You are crazy my little mate"

We walked downstairs and some random girl ran up to me and hugged me.

"Hi you must be Kendall, Declan over here hasn't shut up about you since you arrived"

I looked at Declan and he was glaring at this girl.

"I'm Peyton, Declan's sister"

I nodded my head and looked at Declan.

"She isn't much of a talker, is she Declan?" Peyton told him.

He shook his head at her and walked to the kitchen where a lady was standing over the stove cooking breakfast.

Once she noticed us she ran over to us and hugged as both.

"My little baby has found his mate, I'm so happy for you Deckie"

"Mum stop embarrassing me"

"Sorry" she said.

She turned to me and pulled me into a giant hug.

"It's a please to meet you Luna Kendall, I'm Lottie, Declan's mother"

Oh god, I am Luna. I can't run a pack.

I smiled at her and Declan pulled me over to the kitchen table and sat me down on his knee.

"Mum, Kendall here doesn't like bacon and eggs so can she have something else?"

"Of course"

"What would you like?" Declan asked me before kissing my cheek.

"Um.. Can I please just have a bowl of cereal?" I asked Lottie.

"Of course darling. What type of cereal?"

"Do you have any corn flakes?" I asked.

"Yes of course"

She put the cornflakes and some milk in a bowl and put it on the table in front of me.

I went to grab the spoon but Declan stopped me.

"No let me, I want to feed my beautiful mate"

He was such a gentleman, I am going to miss this when I leave.

In a flash I was turned around on Declan's lap and was straddling him. Stupid werewolf speed.

He put some of the cereal on the spoon and put it in my mouth. I ate it all like this, Declan feeding me like a baby. Not that I minded.

"Lets go up to our room, I want to know as much as I can about my amazing mate"

We walked up the stairs with his arms around my waist, him walking behind me.

When we got to his room and as soon as we got inside the room I was underneath him on the bed.

I looked up at him with worry and nervousness in my eyes.

"Oh shit! I'm so sorry baby"

He got off of me and I crawled away from him.

"Baby I didn't mean to scare you, you are safe here and no one is going to ever hurt you as long as you are with me"

I nodded my head and crossed my legs, still on the other side of the bed to him.
