27. Come here wolf boy

Kendall's POV

I woke up and Declan was by my side. As soon as he noticed I was awake he pulled me into a tight hug. I was in the pack infirmary and was lying on the uncomfortable bed.

"Baby I was so worried about you"

"What happened?"

"There is something up with Zander. He has this affect on you. He's making you feel like this. He's hurting you. I don't want you talking to him anymore"

"What is he doing?"

"I don't know yet but Kendall I need to claim you to make sure that he doesn't. Any unmated wolf can claim you and his wolf is a lot more aggressive than mine"

"Declan you know I'm not ready for that yet"

"I'm not trying to rush you Kendall. I'm just looking out for you. Baby can you just forget everything that I said earlier on and we can start fresh?"

"I'm never going to forget what you said to me Declan. It really hurt me. It felt like you ripped my heart out and was stomping on it repeatedly. That's how much it hurt"

"Baby I'm so sorry. I felt terrible after I said it. I will die if you stay mad at me any longer. I love you Kendall. I would do anything to protect you. I would give you the world. Please just find it in your heart to forgive me"

A tear escaped from my eye and he wiped it away slowly.

"Come here wolf boy" I said opening my arms.

He wrapped his arms around me and Gracie purred in delight.

"I'm gonna change my ways for you Kendall. I'm gonna be a way better mate and I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure that you're happy"

"I love you Declan"

As soon as I said this I heard a growl from the door.

I looked at the door and saw Zander there in an attacking position.

I looked into his eyes and I yelped out in pain.

"What are you doing to her Zander! Stop it! You're hurting her!" I heard Declan yell.

My body felt like it was on my fire, it was like I was shifting again for the first time.

"Declan make it stop please" I begged him.

"ZANDER LET HER GO" Declan yelled.

I looked at Zander and saw his eyes go from red back to his sea green colour.

"Leave now Zander" Declan growled.

"Declan I want to leave this place. I wanna go back to your room"

"You mean our room" he said. He picked me up bridal style and carried me to our room with Zander following behind us.

Declan placed me down on the bed lightly and tucked me in.

"Baby get some rest okay, it's 11 at night"

"Come lie with me" I said grabbing his arm.

"I would love to more than anything in the world but I have pack stuff to deal with"

"Can you wake me up in the morning for school?" I asked him sweetly.

"Of course baby"

"I don't want you to go" I said squeezing his arm lightly.

Zander growled and that's when Declan snapped.

"What are you still doing here? Get the hell out of my room!" Declan yelled.
