28. Secret Room

Kendall's POV

Declan wrapped his arms around me protectively and we sat behind Zander.

The teacher walked in and I smelt that he was a werewolf.

"Welcome back Mr Winters" the teacher said bowing his head. "Ms Oakley" he said bowing his head at me.

I smiled at the teacher and looked at Declan who was staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear but was looking straight into my eyes.

I looked down and blushed.

"Perfect" I heard him say quietly.

I giggled and looked forward to see Zander glaring at us. When he looked at me his eyes softened and he smiled at me. I quickly looked away from him and looked at the teacher.

Declan pulled my chair closer to him and then lifted my legs over the top of his.

Once the class ended Zander quickly ran out of the class and he was shaking.

Declan and I had a line off so he said that he was going to take me somewhere.

He took me to the library... Seriously Declan.

"Before you say anything Kendall. I'm not taking you to the library. Well I am but just follow me"

I giggled at his little rant and followed behind him.

He ripped a giant poster off the wall and there was a hole behind it.

"Quickly get inside"

I did as he said and there were cushions everywhere and little fairy lights.

He put the poster back on the wall after hopping inside with me.

I looked around and touched the walls lightly.

"You like it?" He asked me while wrapping his arms around me.

"I love it. How did you find this place"

"I don't know, I think it was just a wolf instinct"

"It's beautiful"

"You're more beautiful"

"Shut up" I said.

"Sorry princess" he said sadly.

I looked at him and he had his head hung low.

"Sorry Declan. I shouldn't have snapped at you"

"It's alright princess"

"Does anyone else know about this place?" 

 "Don't think so. I only come here when I have to think about stuff or I just want to be left alone. It's really peaceful in here"

"It's also pretty romantic if you asked me" I said nibbling on his ear gently.

His eyes were opened wide and I giggled.

He pinned me up against the wall with my hands above my head and started sucking and biting on my neck.

We continued making out and he laid me down on the pillows. I know this sounds really weird but we were dry humping and I kinda liked it.

While Declan started rubbing my legs I heard him groan in anger.

"Deckie what is it baby"

His head was in the crook of my neck and I could feel his hot breath on my skin.

"I kind of forgot to turn my mind link off so everyone in the pack kind of heard what I was thinking"

"Declan" I hissed smacking his chest. "I will never be able to look at anyone in the pack again without being embarrassed"

"It happens all the time Kendall. It's natural for a wolf to act like that around their mate"

"We have to go to class alright" I said fixing up my beanie and my hair.

"Baby I'm sorry"

"It's okay Deckie"

"So you're not mad?"

"No" I said hugging him.

Declan left the class early so I was stuck to walk to lunch by myself. He said that there was something wrong with Peyton an he had to check it out.

I headed towards my locker and felt someone's presence behind me.

I turned around and Zander stood there smiling at me.

"Uh hey Zander" I said nervously.

"Hey beautiful"

I blushed and twirled a strand of my hair around my finger.

"Where's Declan?" He asked icily.

"I think he's waiting for me in the cafeteria" 

 "Can't we just stay here and talk for a little bit"

"I don't think so Zander"

"I'm not a bad guy Kendall. I don't know what Declan has told you but I'm not gonna hurt you. I would never be able to hurt you. I love you"

"I'm sorry Zander I don't love you back. I have a mate and I love him"

"Kendall you love me" Zander said gripping my wrists tightly.

"Please let me go Zander. You're hurting me"

"I'm so sorry" he said kissing my wrists.

I looked down at him in confusion and he looked into my eyes.

He put his head in my neck and started sniffing.

"You smell like him" he growled.

"Well he is my mate Zander"

"You're mine" he growled.

He started trailing kisses down my neck and I put my hand on his chest.

"Zander stop" I said giggling.

I felt his canines brush against my skin and that's when I started panicking.

"Zander stop it now! Get off me!" I said worriedly.

"Declan has to learn that you're mine"

"I'm not yours!" I yelled.

Just as he was about to sink his teeth into my neck he was pulled off me and there stood a very angry looking Declan.

Shit.

I'm in trouble now.
