37. Giving birth

Kendall's POV

I screamed out in pain as Bettie told me to push.

As you could probably tell I was going into labor.

I didn't want to go to a hospital or anything so I just decided to have my babies here in her little cottage.

There was no way I was ready to go back to Declan just yet. I just couldn't. Whenever I thought about going back to him, I picture what he did to me them few months back.

"Keep pushing Kendall. I can see your first little boys head"

Jace.

A few months ago I thought that I wanted children. I thought that I was ready for it all, for all the commitment. But in reality I'm really not. I'm still a young girl, I'm only 17 with 2 twin boys to take care of.

I held both my little boys in my arms and was crying tears of joy.

I loved both of them so much.

All that pain that I just went through was worth it in the end because my little boys were perfect.

Jace was the oldest by 4 minutes.

Bettie helped me with everything and she did everything she could to make me and the babies safe.

Jace, Brody and I were all cleaned up and I was laying in bed with them both in my arms.

"I love you my little angels"

Declan's POV

I knew that Kendall was in tremendous pain but I don't know what was happening to her. All I wanted was for her to be in my arms where she belongs but all I have is that stupid pack slut Charlotte.

"Declan when are you going to mark me so I can be Luna?"

"Never"

"Baby don't be like that"

"Will you just shut up?" I snapped at her.

She stomped her foot and ran off angrily.

Lately all she has been doing is clinging to me and never leaving me alone.

'Protect mate. Find mate. Protect mate' Zeke spoke in my head.

'Zeke she's gone okay! And she's not coming back'

He howled in anger and pain and I punched the wall.

Kendall's POV

1 Month Later

Today was the day that I was finally going back to Declan.

I was so nervous and scared to see him after 4 months of nothing.

I was dressed in a white summer dress and Jace was in a red onesie while Brody was in a blue one.

Both of the boys have been perfect angels for the past month and I can't wait for the months to come.

I stood at the pack border and saw two wolfs ran past.

They shifted and Jarrod and Abby stood in front of me both with smiles on their faces. They ran towards me and crushed me into a hug.

"Please be quiet guys. I want to surprise Declan"

They both looked at each other in worry and then smiled at me.

"What?"

"Nothing" they both said quickly. "Lets just get you back to the pack house where you belong" Abby ushered.

"I'm bringing Bettie with me. She helped me out with everything"

Bettie came out from behind the trees holding both Jace and Brody.

Both of their eyes nearly popped out of their heads and they gasped.

"Oh Declan isn't going to be happy"

"Why?" I asked grabbing both my boys.

"That he wasn't there for the birth of his children. Especially the future alphas of the pack" Jarrod spoke quickly.

"Lets just forget about it and don't tell anyone that I'm here" I said quietly while we walked to the pack house.

"KENDALL!" Lottie screamed when I walked in. She stopped running over to me when she noticed my two little bundles of joy in my arms.

"Twins" she said excitedly. "Grandkids"

I handed Jace to her and she started crying.

"He looks like the both of you"

I kissed Brody's forehead and everyone sat in the lounge room talking to me about the boys and how I have been doing.

"How's Declan been?"

As soon as I said this I heard the door opening and shutting immediately and Charlotte was pinned up to the door whilst Declan was eating her face.

They continued kissing and moved around so now they were making out in the corridor.

"I'll go talk to him" Lottie said softly.

"Okay" I said, my voice going croaky.

"You can put the boys down in there. That's where we put Rain"

Declan's POV

I was just about to mark Charlotte and make her my "mate" and the Luna of the pack when mum coughed loudly.

"What?" I growled.

"There is someone here that wishes to see you"

"Is it important?"

"Very"

I followed mum to the lounge room with Charlotte's arm wrapped around my waist just like Kendall used to do with me.

I sniffed the air and I smelt 3 unusual smells and the one smell I have missed for months.

Charlotte started kissing my neck and I moaned but stopped immediately when I heard a loud growl.

I stared at Kendall. Wait Kendall?

She stood up and stalked towards us.

She grabbed Charlotte by the neck and slammed her into the wall.

The Luna inside her finally rises.

"Don't you touch him ever again! He's mine! Get that through your head! Don't disrespect your Luna"

Her face was going white and she was struggling for air.

She dropped her on the ground and stalked over to me.

She shoved me against a wall and her eyes were bright blue.

"You're mine" she growled.

She but into my neck fiercely and I hissed in pain.

Did she just mark me? Was that even possible?

I'm so so so sorry for the short and shitty chapter :( It was sort of just a filler but anyways im still sorry :( What do you think is going to happen next? Will Kendall and Declan get back together? Will they both forgive eachother for what they did?
