9. Silver Beam Pack

Kendall's POV

I have been running for hours now, I have passed a few rogues now and then but they were rogues like me. They weren't looking to kill anyone they either just left their pack or got kicked out, leaving them on their own.

I was walking through the forest in my human form wearing a button up shirt that I found along the track when I heard the sounds of many growls around me.

"I don't mean any harm" I said quietly. Putting my hands up in surrender.

A guy around 21-22 came out of the trees and looked at me.

"Where have you come from?"

"I.. I came from Red Dawn Pack but I originally come from Blood Moon Pack"

"Do you need somewhere to stay?" He asked nicely.

I nodded my head and he smiled at me.

"My name is Jason, Alpha of the Silver Beam Pack. Hop on the back of my wolf and we will arrive safely at the pack house quicker"

He shifted into his massive grey wolf and I jumped on his back. I put my arms around his neck so I wouldn't fall off and off he went.

We arrived at the pack house very quickly, I didn't realise I had entered their territory.

"I can only stay for a little while, I can't risk anyone finding me"

"Who are you running from exactly?"

"Lots of people" I said quietly.

"You know you can talk to me...."

"Kendall" I said.

"The Kendall?" He asked shocked.

I widened my eyes and tried to run away but he grabbed my arm.

"You are Alpha Declan's mate. I am meant to take care of you when Alpha Jake goes to battle Declan"

"You're the one that I was going to visit?"

He nodded his head and I started crying at the thought of Declan. I wonder if he was looking for me or if he was glad I was finally gone.

'Of course he is looking for us' Gracie snapped.

She has been upset with me ever since I left Declan.

'I'm sorry Gracie'

'He wasn't gonna hurt us. I told you he isn't like Jake but you didn't listen. He loves us Kendall and him and Zeke would die for us'

Jason carried me upstairs and put me down on a soft bed.

"Go to sleep Kendall, I have pack stuff to organise"

I nodded my head and fell into a deep sleep.

Jason's POV

Once I found out that Kendall was the girl who showed up on my land I knew I had to call Declan.

He has been looking for her ever since she left and he's going a bit crazy.

I dialled his number and brought the phone up to my ear.

"Hello" Declan said. He sounded terrible.

"Hello Declan, it's Jason"

"Oh hi Jason"

"I have some good news for you"

"What?" He said happily.

"I have your mate"

"Really?" He said excitedly.

"Yes she is sleeping at the moment, I will bring her over to your pack first thing tomorrow morning"

"Thank you so much Jason. I will call you back in a few days just to clear up some things about the battle"

"Okay I will talk to you later Declan"

"Bye"

I hung up the phone and put it down on my desk.

I headed to my own room where my mate Rosalie was sleeping on our bed.

I stripped down to my boxers and hopped in bed with her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and put my head in her neck.

I fell to sleep instantly with my mate in my arms.
